Would you pay £10,000 for a Center Parcs holiday in summer 2022?

I took a double take recently whilst doing some price comparisons for this website.

Take a look at the price of this Center Parcs holiday:

That price is for self catering and doesn't include most activities. You get access to the swimming pool, but it doesn't include other sports and activities. 

Admittedly, it's a four bedroom property which is big enough for eight people but it's still £191 per person, per night. It also comes with a hot tub and is at the top end of the Center Parcs accommodation options.

The cheapest accommodation for that week at Center Parcs was £2198 for a family of four, which is much better value in my opinion. I would go for two of those and splash out on activities.

There is clearly demand for accommodation like this, since the previous two weeks had sold out. I think it's fair to say that 2022 is going to be another year of high demand for staycations.
