If you want to avoid the risk of being woken by a nine-year-old on a bicycle at 6am then you might consider an adults-only holiday park. We've picked out five of the best couples only and adults holiday parks based on customer reviews, facilities, value for money and location.
For our price comparison, we looked for a four-night break during early July 2024 (outside of school holidays) for two people.

1. Corton Coastal Village, Suffolk (sea views, swimming pool, activities)
Corton Coastal Village is part of the Warner Leisure chain of adults-only resorts. They tend to be more popular with older couples but are open to anyone aged over 21. Some Warner Leisure Resorts are more like hotels, but Corton Coastal Village is more like a holiday resort with a row of chalets overlooking the coastline.
The big advantage over other resorts is that you get a really good range of things to do onsite. There's an indoor swimming pool with a gym, sauna and steam room as well as archery, crossbow, rifle shooting, bowls, a putting green and croquet.
You also get evening meals included and entertainment provided, so it's better value than a self-catering holiday. You don't get a private hot tub but there are communal facilities as part of the swimming pool.
Warner Leisure has other adults only coastal villages that offer similar chalet accommodation, including Norton Grange Holiday Village on the Isle of Wight, Lakeside Holiday Village on Hayling Island in Hampshire and Gunton Hall Holiday Village in Suffolk.
Price: £618 for a standard chalet for two people for four nights in early July 2025 at Corton Coastal Village. Unlike the others on this list, that includes dinner and breakfast. If you want a clifftop lodge overlooking the beach then the price for those dates was £1198.
There are about 15 adults only resorts run by Warner Leisure - we've written a full comparison of Warner Leisure resorts which gives advice on which ones we think are the best.

2. Beach Cove Coastal Retreat, Devon (hot tubs, sea views, beachside)
Locations don't get much better than Beach Cove Coastal Retreat in Devon, which has classy cabins hanging over the beach.
They aren't the cheapest and onsite facilities are limited, but you get a hot tub and terrific views. That's enough for us on a romantic break (wink wink, nudge nudge).
The smaller cabins are all in one room whilst the more expensive accommodation has a separate bedroom and living area.
The local beach is lovely for a wander or you can drive five minutes down the road to Ilfracombe. There isn't a swimming pool onsite but there's a good pub right by the entrance to the park, or there's more choice for places to eat in Ilfracombe itself. It's a good one for walkers as there are some stunning coastal walks around this part of Devon.
Reviews are outstanding at 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.6/5 on Google Reviews.
Price: £605 for four nights in a one bedroom 'Cairnwood Premier' beach house for a couple in early July 2025.

3. Springwood Lodges, Yorkshire (hot tubs, great reviews, rural location)
**Winner: best value adults only holiday park**
Springwood Lodges in Yorkshire is another couples' only holiday resort with outstanding reviews. In fact, reviews are about as good as they get (5/5 on TripAdvisor, 4.9/5 on Google Reviews).
It doesn't have a swimming pool or other facilities onsite but each of the Scandinavian style lodges is highly rated and includes its own hot tub.
Springwood Lodges is located within an 'area of outstanding natural beauty' on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's about 20 minutes by car to the classy North Yorkshire town of Harrogate. For shopping, head into Leeds which is less than hour's drive.
Price: £569 for four nights in a 'Lilleskov' lodge with a hot tub, for two people in July 2025.

4. Beaconsfield Park, Shropshire (indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, lodges)
**Winner: cheapest holiday park**
Beaconsfield Park near Shrewsbury is an adults only park with fancy lodges with hot tubs as well as some cheaper caravans and touring options.
The site has an indoor swimming pool, as well as a coffee shop, restaurant, fishing lakes and bike hire. The only downside is that you pay extra for most things, including the swimming pool (which is quite unusual at these resorts). When I checked, it was £5 to swim and £2 to use the steam room.
Beaconsfield Park makes our top 5 thanks to consistently positive customer reviews, which average 4/5 on TripAdvisor.
It's about half an hour to the edge of the Shropshire Hills, which are well worth a visit if you're a walker. Birmingham is about an hour's drive.
Price: £499 for a four night stay in early July 2025 in a pet-friendly one bedroom 'Chestnut Lodge' with a hot tub

5. Longnor Wood Holiday Park, Peak District (simple facilities, peaceful, hot tubs)
There are only basic facilities at the adults' only Longnor Wood Holiday Park near Buxton in Derbyshire's Peak District, but it gets strong reviews and is in a very rural location.
There isn't a swimming pool at the small park, but you can do badminton, boules or putting onsite.
They've got caravans, lodges and some glamping-style pods, most of which have their own hot tubs.
Most holiday parks in the Peak District are actually on the outskirts, but this one has the definite advantage of being within the boundaries of the national park. As a result, I'd say this is a good one for walkers. Bring a book just in case it rains...
