10 Best Park Resorts/Parkdean Resorts Caravan Holiday Parks - 2024
**Parkdean Resorts latest offer: Caravan holidays from £99**
Parkdean Resorts is a supersized caravan park company that came about after a merger with Park Resorts.
Parkdean Resorts has more than 60 holiday parks across the UK, including the former Park Resorts site. We’ve picked out the 10 which we think are the best, based on reviews, location, facilities and price.
Most Parkdean Resorts sites and former Park Resorts holiday parks are busy and well equipped with swimming pools and entertainment, which makes them popular for a family holiday. A few of them are quiet and only have basic facilities but are a good base for a cheap holiday.

1. Eyemouth Holiday Park Scotland (beachside, great reviews, cheap)
**Winner: best value Parkdean Resorts holiday park**
There are eight Parkdean Resorts in Scotland. In our opinion, the best value one is the former Park Resorts holiday park of Eyemouth. In fact, there's a good argument that it's the best value Parkdean Resorts holiday park in the UK.
It is one of only a handful of former Park Resorts holiday parks which get 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor (most get 3.5/5 or 4/5) so it’s very deserving of a place in our guide to the best Park Resorts and Parkdean Resorts sites.
Eyemouth doesn’t actually have as much on site as a lot of holiday parks, but there’s a playground, bar, restaurant and sports court onsite, as well as the usual evening and kids club stuff.
There’s not a swimming pool onsite unfortunately, but Parkdean Resorts has an arrangement with a local indoor pool offsite which means you can use it for free during your holiday.
It’s only a short walk to the beach and it’s just over an hour’s drive to Edinburgh for a day out, or 20 minutes to Berwick Upon Tweed.
The other highly rated Parkdean Resorts holiday park in Scotland is Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park, which is near to Inverness. It ranks as one of the top 10 according to customer reviews and was also good value in our price comparison of every Parkdean Resorts holiday park.
Price: £699 for a family of four, for a week in August 2024 in a St Abbs caravan. That makes it amongst the top 15 cheapest Parkdean Resorts in our price comparison, despite being one of the highest-rated with customers.

2. Nodes Point Holiday Park St Helen's, Isle of Wight (beachside, swimming pool)
**Discount code: Save 10% at Nodes Point until end of 2024 with exclusive discount code PZHPG10 (book by 15/08/24)**
There are four Parkdean Resorts holiday parks on the Isle of Wight but personally I’d pick Nodes Point. They were all previously Park Resorts holiday parks before the companies merged.
Nodes Point is walking distance from the pleasant beach at St Helen’s which has ankle deep water and isn’t too touristy. On the site, there’s an indoor swimming pool, as well as a playground and sports courts.
In the summer, they offer horse riding along the beach, which is pretty idyllic.
The Isle of Wight isn’t huge, so you can get to the popular tourist towns of Shanklin, Ryde or Ventnor without a huge drive. It’s quite a long way from the famous Needles and Alum Bay, but you could certainly do it as a day trip.
Reviews are consistently at around 4/5. They also do glamping, touring and camping for those with an optimistic view of the UK's weather.
Other former Park Resorts options on the Isle of Wight are Thorness Bay (usually the cheapest, remote location) or Landguard/Lower Hyde (two similar sites in busy resort Shanklin).
Price comparison: £1049 for a family of two adults and two children staying in a Farringford chalet for a week in August 2024. Landguard was £759 for those dates whilst Lower Hyde started from £769 and Thorness Bay started from £839.

3. California Cliffs Holiday Park Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (beachside, swimming pool)
Norfolk is jam-packed with Parkdean Resorts holiday parks, including some which were formerly Park Resorts sites. There are seven in total, but I would pick California Cliffs - even if the name is a little over the top!
It gets solid reviews (4 out of 5 generally), it’s got indoor and outdoor swimming pools and it is near to the beach. What more do you want? Well, actually there’s also crazy golf, an adventure playground and some other entertainments.
You’ll need a car if you want to visit Great Yarmouth itself, as it’s a few miles along the coast.
Another good choice in Norfolk is either Cherry Tree Holiday Park or Breydon Water Holiday Park. They are practically next door to each other, about 15 minutes inland from Great Yarmouth. Cherry Tree gets slightly better reviews whilst Breydon Water is usually the cheapest Norfolk holiday park in our price comparisons.
The downside is that neither is as close to the beach as California Cliffs - which is a big deal for us.
Price comparison: £939 for a Burnham caravan for a family of four, for a week in August 2024. Breydon Water had caravans starting from £719 for the same dates.

4. White Cross Bay Holiday Park Windermere, Lake District (lakeside, swimming pool)
There’s a very decent choice of former Park Resorts holiday parks in the Lake District and Cumbria, but our pick is White Cross Bay, as it’s close to Windermere and it’s got an indoor swimming pool.
You can even bring your own boat if you want to (and if you own a boat, of course).
There are some other things on site, such as a sports court and sauna, but you’d be a bit mad to come to the glorious Lake District and then spend the whole week in a hot little room with nothing but a towel on.
White Cross Bay gets 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.3/5 on Google Reviews.
The other Parkdean Resorts sites in the Lake District are Fallbarrow Holiday Park and Limefitt Holiday Park, which are both near to Windermere. Both are excellent holiday parks - in fact, they came first and joint second in our comparison of review scores for all 66 Parkdean Resorts. However, neither has an indoor swimming pool, which is a bit of a downside in the notoriously soggy Lake District.
Price comparison: £1059 for a week in a Rothay caravan for a family of two adults and two children in August 2024. They also have pet friendly caravans and lodges.

5. Sandy Bay Holiday Park Northumberland (beachside, swimming pool, cheap)
Sandy Bay doesn’t win any awards for coming up with a creative name, but it deserves a place in our top 10 Parkdean Resorts caravan parks guide.
It is one of several excellent value Parkdean Resorts holiday parks and former Park Resorts holiday parks in Northumberland and County Durham.
Church Point Holiday Park is more popular with customers but we think Sandy Bay just about edges it on facilities and value for money.
Reviews for Sandy Bay are 4/5 and it's improved a lot after recent investment. Lots of it was refurbished in 2017, including the soft play and bar/restaurant.
Sandy Bay ticks most of the boxes of what I look for in a holiday park, with direct beach access (always preferable to loading up the car), an indoor swimming pool and somewhere to eat including takeaway and restaurant options.
Church Point Holiday Park is probably a better choice if you just want a quiet resort with access to a nice beach. It's one of the most popular Parkdean Resorts holiday parks with customers and scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.4/5 on Google Reviews.
Whitley Bay Holiday Park also deserves an honourable mention. It is another good Parkdean Resorts site in Northumberland. It scores well with customers and is in the top 20 cheapest Parkdean Resorts in the UK.
Price comparison: £719 for a week’s holiday at Sandy Bay Holiday Park for a family of four in a dog friendly Meldon caravan in August 2024.

6. Skipsea Sands Holiday Park Bridlington, East Yorkshire (swimming pool, fishing lakes)
If you’re bringing a car, I’d pick Skipsea Sands near Bridlington as the best of the four former Park Resorts caravan sites in Yorkshire.
It’s got an indoor swimming pool, as well as a fishing lake, sauna, one of those indoor play areas which children can bounce off, ten pin bowling and somewhere to eat.
It’s right by the coast, so you can admire the sea view although it’s a short drive to the more family friendly section of beach.
Another former Park Resorts option in the area is Parkdean Resorts Barmston Beach which is nearer to the beach, but only has an outdoor swimming pool. It gets much better customer reviews than Skipsea Sands and it tends to cost about the same. However, the lack of an indoor swimming pool is a bit limiting unless you are lucky with the weather.
Parkdean Resorts Cayton Bay Holiday Park is also worth a quick mention. It's a large resort with plenty to do and it's by a good beach. However, it is relatively expensive compared to Skipsea Sands and Barmston Beach.
Price comparison: £659 for a Skirfare caravan for a family of two adults and two children for a week in August 2024 (a six berth caravan). That makes it one of the cheapest Parkdean Resorts in England.

7. Weeley Bridge Holiday Park Clacton-on-sea, Essex (inland, outdoor swimming pool, cheap)
If you’re in the South East of England and don’t fancy a nine hour drive with children, then I’d take a look at Weeley Bridge on the edge of Clacton on Sea.
In terms of value for money and reviews, I'd say it's one of the better Parkdean Resorts/former Park Resorts holiday sites. Customers certainly consider to be the best Parkdean Resorts holiday park in Essex.
It’s a little way inland (about 15 minutes from the coast) but there’s enough onsite to waste a few hours, including an outdoor swimming pool in the summer (not sure why you’d want to use it in the winter anyway), a playground, sports court, fishing lake, kids' and grown-up entertainment and a bar.
Weeley Bridge gets excellent reviews on TripAdvisor (4.5/5) and Google reviews (4/5).
The alternatives in Essex - such as Highfield Grange Holiday Park and Valley Farm Holiday Park - are often cheaper than Weeley Bridge. However, they don't get such positive reviews.
Price comparison: £829 for a family of four in a Holly caravan for a week in August 2024.

8. St Margaret's Bay Holiday Park Dover, Kent (swimming pool, good facilities for grown ups)
If you want to spend a week singing about the White Cliffs of Dover, I’d take a look at St Margaret’s Bay Caravan Park.
It’s one of the better equipped Parkdean Resorts sites for adults, with an indoor pool, gym, ‘alternative therapies’, sauna, bar and restaurant. There’s stuff for the kids too, with the usual entertainment and playgrounds.
It's certainly a good one if you are based around London or the South East and don't fancy a long drive to popular spots like Cornwall or the Lakes.
Most reviewers give it 4 out of 5.
Price comparison: £769 for a family of four, for a week’s holiday in August 2024 (staying in a Tintern bungalow).

9. Todber Valley Parkdean Resorts Holiday Park Lancashire (cheap base for exploring outdoors)
Todber Valley Caravan Park is worth considering if you're looking for a cheap Parkdean Resorts site and don’t mind doing a bit of driving on holiday.
Onsite facilities are a bit basic but it’s 20 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales, 10 minutes from the Forest of Bowland or 1 hour from Kendal, Blackpool or Morecambe.
It’s also got nice views overlooking Pendle Hill and it gets a solid 4 out of 5 from reviewers.
There’s no swimming pool but there is a play area, sports area and pub.
In our comparisons of customer reviews and prices at every Parkdean Resorts in the UK, Todber Valley performs well. It is in the top third of holiday parks based on customer reviews whilst also being one of the cheapest in the UK.
Regent Bay Holiday Park in Lancashire is similarly good value. It's in Morecambe and is a better choice if you want a cheap beach holiday rather than rolling green hills.
Price: £559 for a family of four, for a week in August 2024, staying in a Fox caravan. That makes Todber Valley on of the UK's cheapest Parkdean Resorts holiday parks.

10. Ocean Edge Holiday Park Morecambe, Lancashire (swimming pool, cheap)
**Winner: cheapest Parkdean Resorts holiday park**
There’s loads to do onsite at Parkdean Resort's Ocean Edge Holiday Park, which is right by the cliffs, about 10 minutes by car to the seafront at Morecambe.
The park has an indoor swimming pool and sauna as well as indoor and outdoor play areas, a bar and restaurant. It also has evening entertainment, football tournaments and various water-based activities (which are no-doubt completely deafening in an indoor swimming pool…)
Overall I’d say it’s one of the better equipped Parkdean Resorts sites.
Price comparison: £669 for a family of four staying in a Pilling Sands caravan for a week in August 2024.
