10 Best Cornwall Caravan Holiday Parks (2026 Prices Compared)
Author: Robbie Lane | Last updated: 19 January 2026
Cornwall has more than 50 holiday parks, most of which offer static caravans and lodge accommodation. To help you choose, we’ve picked 10 of the best Cornwall caravan holiday parks by comparing price, reviews, location and facilities.
Holiday parks in Cornwall are spread all over the county. Some are close to busier, more accessible towns such as Newquay and Bude, while others sit in more remote parts of the Cornish coastline around Land’s End, Penzance and the Lizard Peninsula. A few are near popular seaside resorts like St Ives, which can be a good compromise if you want scenery without total isolation.
Our top 10 includes a mix of quieter, family-owned holiday parks and larger, well-known resorts run by companies such as Haven and Parkdean Resorts. The idea isn’t to pick one “type” of park, but to show the best options across different styles.
For the price comparison, we looked for the cheapest available accommodation for a family of four (two adults and two children) staying for one week in August 2026. All searches were carried out in August 2025, so prices give a useful comparison rather than a guarantee - booking later usually costs more.
You can also see these resorts on our super-jazzy interactive map.

Cornwall Holiday Parks: Our Top 10 for 2026
1. Haven Perran Sands & Haven Riviere Sands – busy parks, great beaches, lots going on
**Haven's Offers: Last minute bargains from £49 + Summer 2026 from £159**
Haven has two holiday parks in Cornwall, and both are very popular. Perran Sands or Riviere Sands are both busy, family-friendly parks next to excellent beaches — but there are some important differences.
Reviews: slight edge to Riviere Sands
If you go purely by reviews, Riviere Sands comes out slightly ahead. It currently scores 4.1/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.4/5 on Google Reviews, which works out as about 85% overall. Perran Sands isn’t far behind with 4.3/5 on Google Reviews, but its TripAdvisor score of 3.7/5 drags the overall rating down to around 80%.
Size and facilities: Perran Sands is the bigger resort
Both parks are lively and geared towards families, but Perran Sands is noticeably larger. That extra scale means more facilities overall, including a touring and camping area (which Riviere Sands doesn’t have).
Pets are another key difference. Dogs aren’t allowed at Riviere Sands, which will be an immediate deal-breaker for some families. Perran Sands does allow pets in selected accommodation.

Swimming pools and activities
Both parks have indoor and outdoor swimming pools — and personally, I’d always opt for a park with a decent indoor pool in Cornwall.
At Perran Sands, you get:
Both parks offer evening entertainment, places to eat on site, and activities such as surf and paddleboard lessons. Perran Sands is better equipped overall, with extras like crazy golf, a climbing wall, soft play, NERF training, segways and bungee trampolines (some at an extra cost). Riviere Sands has a smaller selection, including playgrounds, archery and mini aerial adventures.
At Perran Sands, you get:
- An indoor pool with a flume
- An outdoor pool with a lazy river
- A fairly standard indoor pool
- A couple of smaller outdoor pools
- A two-lane outdoor slide

Location: how to choose between them
So which one should you choose — the slightly smaller park with better reviews or the larger park with more facilities?
Personally, I’d decide based on price and location.
Perran Sands is in Perranporth, which is a bit less remote and better placed for attractions around Newquay (such as Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and Pirates Quest). It’s also slightly closer to the Eden Project.
Riviere Sands is closer to Land’s End, which may suit you better if you’re planning to explore the far west of Cornwall.

Prices (August 2026, family of four)
- Perran Sands: £1085 for a Saver caravan
- Riviere Sands: £909 for a Saver caravan
That makes Riviere Sands about £175 cheaper for the same week. However, prices can change dramatically depending on arrival date. In our checks, Riviere Sands was £250 more expensive if you arrived just one week later in early August.
A standard Haven holiday gives access to facilities (with some activities costing extra). A Haven Hideaway holiday is cheaper but only includes accommodation and restaurant access — the prices above are for standard Haven holidays, as that’s what most people choose.
A standard 'Haven' holiday gives you access to all the facilities, although you pay extra for some things. A 'Haven Hideaway' holiday just gives you accommodation and restaurant access. Prices above are for a standard holiday, as that's what most people go for. See our guide to Haven Hideaway.
Why we included Perran Sands and Riviere Sands in our top 10 (the short version)
Haven’s two Cornwall parks make the top of the list because they offer a reliable, full-scale holiday park experience in excellent beachside locations. Both Perran Sands and Riviere Sands are busy, family-friendly resorts with strong facilities, direct beach access and consistently high demand during peak season.
Between them, they cover slightly different priorities. Perran Sands suits families who want more facilities and activities on site, while Riviere Sands appeals to those who prefer a smaller park with slightly stronger review scores and lower prices. The choice often comes down to budget, location and scale, which is why we’ve treated them together at the top of the guide.
Taken as a pair, they represent the benchmark against which many other Cornwall caravan parks are compared.

2. St Ives Bay Holiday Park – excellent beach access and solid facilities
**St Ives Discount Code: up to 10% off via this link with code DOGFRIENDLY10 until 31/12/26**
St Ives Bay Holiday Park has one of the best locations you’ll find at a Cornwall caravan park. It sits just along the coast from Haven’s Riviere Sands Holiday Park and has direct access to a three-mile-long sandy beach. The beach is mostly used by the surrounding holiday parks, so even in summer it generally feels less crowded than beaches closer to big towns.
Beach and activities
If the weather behaves itself, you can book surfing lessons at the park’s surf school. When it doesn’t (this is Cornwall, after all), the indoor swimming pool is a decent size. It’s a fairly straightforward pool rather than one with flumes or slides, but it’s a welcome option on cooler or wetter days.
Facilities on site
Other facilities include:
- A bistro and bar, with a terrace overlooking the sea
- A summer entertainment programme, with kids’ activities during peak season
- A playground, plus minigolf and an arcade
Accommodation
Most of the accommodation at St Ives Bay Holiday Park is caravans or chalets, with a small number of houses available for larger groups. There’s also a camping and touring section.
The cheapest options tend to be the ‘value’ caravans and chalets, with upgrades available to superior and luxury models if you want something a bit roomier or newer.

Reviews and pets
Review scores are strong, with 4.4/5 on Google Reviews and 3.9/5 on TripAdvisor, which works out as 83% overall.
Dogs are allowed in the accommodation, but not on the beach directly in front of the park. That sounds worse than it is, as there are plenty of dog-friendly beaches nearby.

Price (August 2026, family of four)
- £1112 for a week in a value caravan for a family of four
Why we included St Ives Bay in our top 10 (the short version)
St Ives Bay Holiday Park earns its place near the top of the list because of its excellent beach access, strong review scores and a sensible range of facilities. It doesn’t try to compete with the biggest resorts for sheer volume of activities, but if being close to the sea matters most, it’s hard to beat.
3. Trevella Holiday Park – quieter location near Newquay, fishing lakes on site
Trevella Holiday Park sits just outside Newquay, which turns out to be one of its biggest strengths. Newquay itself can be very busy in summer, whereas Trevella is in a much quieter area, making it a good option if you want access to beaches without staying right in the thick of things.
The park was taken over by Park Holidays in 2021, along with a small number of other Cornwall holiday parks.
The park was taken over by Park Holidays in 2021, along with a small number of other Cornwall holiday parks.
Beaches and swimming
Trevella doesn’t have an indoor swimming pool, but it does have a heated outdoor pool. If beach days matter more to you than pool complexes, that may not be a problem at all — Crantock Beach is only a five-minute drive away, and the other beaches around Newquay are roughly ten minutes by car.
Facilities and atmosphere
Facilities at Trevella Holiday Park are fairly basic compared with larger resorts. There’s a minigolf course and a playground, but you shouldn’t expect wall-to-wall entertainment or a packed activity programme.
One feature that really sets Trevella apart, though, is the presence of two fishing lakes. That’s a genuine selling point for families or groups where fishing is part of the holiday plan.

Reviews, pets and value
Customer reviews are strong, with 4.3/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.4/5 on Google Reviews, giving an impressive 87% overall. The park is pet friendly, which adds to its appeal for many families.
Price (August 2026, family of four)
£1109 for a week in early August 2026
- Two-bedroom caravan, suitable for a family of four (but sleeping up to six)
Why we included Trevella Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Trevella Holiday Park earns its place in the top ten by offering a peaceful base close to Newquay, strong review scores and good value, without trying to compete with the largest resorts on facilities. If you’re happy to drive a few minutes to beaches and attractions, it’s a very sensible choice.
4. Sea Acres Holiday Park – good value, lots to do, more remote location
**Sea Acres offers: Caravan holidays from £99**
Sea Acres Holiday Park is one of eight holiday parks run by Parkdean Resorts in Cornwall, and we reckon it’s their best. If you really enjoy deep research, you might want to read our more detailed comparison — but the short version is this: Sea Acres combines cheap prices, excellent reviews, and a bigger range of family-friendly facilities than some of Parkdean’s other Cornwall parks.
It also has the benefit of being one of the cheapest holiday parks we’ve found in Cornwall.
In terms of reviews, it’s up there with Crantock Beach Holiday Park (another Parkdean resort in this guide). Both get similarly glowing feedback, but Sea Acres has the advantage on facilities. Overall, Sea Acres scores 87%, which makes it one of Parkdean’s best.

Location: beautiful, but remote
Sea Acres is located on the Lizard Peninsula, which is a beautiful part of Cornwall, with rugged coastline and quieter beaches. The downside is that it’s a fair drive from most places. If you’re arriving from London or the Midlands, it adds extra time compared with parks around Bude or north Cornwall.
That said, the location works well if you’re planning to explore the south coast, and it’s well placed for trips to Land’s End, St Ives, and St Michael’s Mount at Marazion, which is about 35 minutes away.
That said, the location works well if you’re planning to explore the south coast, and it’s well placed for trips to Land’s End, St Ives, and St Michael’s Mount at Marazion, which is about 35 minutes away.
Facilities on site
Sea Acres has a larger range of family-friendly facilities than many similarly priced parks, which is a big part of its appeal. These include:
- An indoor swimming pool
- Soft play area
- Adventure playground
- Amusement arcade
- Table tennis and pool table
- Pitch and putt and crazy golf
- Kids’ clubs
- Evening entertainment (bingo, shows, etc.)
- Restaurant and takeaway food
- A scuba diving centre on site
Beach access
The park is around 500 metres from Kennack Sands, which usually means a 5–10 minute walk, depending on how much beach gear you’re carrying. It’s also close to the South West Coast Path, which is ideal if you enjoy coastal walks.
Accommodation, pets and prices
There’s a wide choice of caravan accommodation at Sea Acres, ranging from Bronze (£) up to Deluxe (££££). Pets are allowed in most caravans, which adds to its appeal for dog owners.
Price (August 2026, family of four):
- £1069 for two adults and two children in a Bronze caravan
The same price would also cover up to six people, though it would be a bit cosy
Why we included Sea Acres Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Sea Acres Holiday Park is one of the best-value family holiday parks in Cornwall if you want lots to do on site and don’t mind being a bit further from the county’s main towns. The location is beautiful, but the driving distances are the trade-off for the lower prices.
5. Retallack Resort and Spa – activity-packed inland resort with lodge accommodation
**Retallack Resort Discount Code: up to 10% off via this link with code DOGFRIENDLY10 until 31/12/26**
We’ve mostly focused on seaside holiday parks for this guide, but Retallack Resort and Spa is highly rated and has such a wide range of activities that it comfortably earns a place in our Cornwall top ten — even though it’s inland.
Location and layout
Retallack Resort sits in mid Cornwall, which makes it well placed for day trips. Padstow and Newquay are around 15–20 minutes away, the Eden Project is roughly 25 minutes by car, and the nearest sandy beach at Porth is about 20 minutes’ drive.
Accommodation here is quite different from most of the other parks in this guide. Instead of caravans, Retallack offers Wooden Lodges, Lakehouses and converted ‘Barns’. The higher-end accommodation with hot tubs is expensive, but the standard wooden lodges are often not much more than a caravan, while being noticeably wider and more spacious.

Facilities and activities
The range of facilities across the site is genuinely impressive. As well as a good-sized indoor swimming pool, there’s:
Food options include The Lookout bar and restaurant, plus a beach café overlooking the aqua park and wakeboarding lake.
- A Total Wipeout–style aqua park
- Wakeboarding lessons
- A surf simulator
- A playground
- A gym
- A spa, with treatments available

Reviews, groups and pets
Review scores average 3.8/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.3/5 on Google Reviews, which works out as 81% overall.
Some of the Barns sleep up to 12 people, which can work out as very good value if you’re travelling as a larger group. Several of them also come with hot tubs. Dogs are welcome at Retallack Resort and Spa.

Price (August 2026, family of four)
- £1376 for two adults and two children
- One week in a Superior Wooden Lodge
- Based on a Friday arrival
Why we included Retallack Resort and Spa in our top 10 (the short version)
Retallack Resort and Spa stands out as a highly rated, activity-heavy alternative to a traditional caravan park. If you’re happy to stay inland and want lots to do without leaving the site, it offers something genuinely different from the coastal parks in this guide.
6. Polperro Holiday Park (near Looe) - sea views, indoor swimming pool
**Winner: best value Cornwall holiday park**
Polperro Holiday Park is a popular Cornwall caravan park now run by Park Holidays. You might still see it referred to by its old name, Seaview Holiday Park, but the location and layout remain the same.
One of the big advantages here is how easy it is to reach. The park sits on Cornwall’s south-eastern coast, which makes it noticeably quicker to get to than more westerly destinations such as Falmouth or Penzance — something that matters if you’re not keen on a very long drive.

Location and nearby places
Polperro Holiday Park has sea views from the site, and the nearest beach at Talland Bay is around five minutes by car or a 20-minute walk. The attractive seaside towns of Polperro and Looe are both less than ten minutes away by car, and the Eden Project is roughly half an hour’s drive.
Facilities on site
Facilities are solid rather than flashy. There’s an indoor swimming pool, which is always useful in Cornwall, plus:
- A bar and clubhouse with live entertainment
- A place to eat on site
- A playground for children
Reviews, pets and accommodation
Customer reviews average 3.9/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.1/5 on Google Reviews, which we treat as 80% overall for easy comparison with the other parks in this guide.
Some of the caravans are dog friendly, although there’s an extra charge of £40 for a week (or £25 for a short break).

Price (August 2026, family of four)
- £921 for a week in early August 2026

Why we included Polperro Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Polperro Holiday Park earns its place as the best-value holiday park in our Cornwall top ten. It combines lower prices, sea views, an indoor pool, and much easier access than many coastal parks — a very strong combination if you’re travelling in peak season.
7. Trelawne Manor Holiday Park – strong value, lots to do, good pool setup
**Trelawne Manor Offer: save up to 30% on last minute deals + summer holidays from £295**
John Fowler is a well-known budget-friendly holiday park operator, with six resorts in Cornwall. Of their options, Trelawne Manor Holiday Park is our pick for this guide because it offers a broader range of activities and performs well in our price comparison.
If you’re weighing up John Fowler parks specifically, Killigarth Manor edges it on review scores alone, while Perran View is the better choice if you want something smaller and quieter. That said, all three score well and tend to be among the cheapest holiday parks in Cornwall, particularly for peak-season family breaks.

One of Trelawne Manor’s big selling points is its indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The outdoor pool has a good-sized flume, which gives it an edge over some similarly priced parks.
Other facilities include:

Location and beaches
The nearest beach isn’t within walking distance, but it’s only about a 10-minute drive, which isn’t too painful. You’ve got a good choice of beaches nearby, including Polperro Beach and Talland Bay.

Reviews
Review scores are strong:
- Killigarth Manor: 88%
- Trelawne Manor: 84%
- Perran View: 83%
Price (August 2026, family of four):
- £1093 for a two-bedroom pet friendly Bronze Chalet for a family of four
Why we included Trelawne Manor Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Trelawne Manor Holiday Park earns its place by offering a lot of facilities for the price, including both indoor and outdoor pools, while still coming in cheaper than many larger resorts. It’s a solid choice if value matters, but you don’t want to feel short-changed on things to do.
8. Crantock Beach Holiday Park – excellent beach access, fewer facilities
Crantock Beach Holiday Park doesn’t try to compete with the bigger resorts in this guide — and that’s very much the point.
Facilities are limited compared with larger holiday parks, but if your priorities are easy beach access and sea views, this is one of the best places to stay in Cornwall.
The park is owned by Parkdean Resorts and has excellent review scores, averaging 88% across Google Reviews and TripAdvisor.

Beach access
The main reason people choose Crantock Beach Holiday Park is the beach itself. Crantock Beach is about a 10-minute walk away and is one of the best beaches in the area. It’s patrolled by lifeguards in summer and has plenty of space, even in peak season.
The walk back up to the park is quite steep, which is worth knowing in advance. Some people prefer to drive down and park at the National Trust car park near the beach. It’s not cheap, but it’s free if you’re a National Trust member.

Facilities on site
Facilities are deliberately simple:
- A place to order food and coffee
- A modest playground
- A small minigolf course
Accommodation, pets and prices
There are no lodges here — accommodation is limited to one-, two- and three-bedroom caravans, sleeping two to eight people. Some caravans are dog friendly.
Price (August 2026, family of four):
- £1299 for a week in a two-bedroom Perrin caravan
This caravan sleeps up to six people and was the cheapest available option when we checked
Why we included Crantock Beach Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Crantock Beach Holiday Park earns its place because of its outstanding beach location. If you’re happy to sacrifice facilities in exchange for walking access to one of Cornwall’s best beaches, it’s a very strong option.
9. Sandymouth Holiday Resort – excellent reviews, easier access, lots to do
Sandymouth Holiday Resort is located near Bude, close to the Devon border, which makes it much easier to reach than holiday parks around Penzance or the Lizard Peninsula. That alone makes it worth considering, particularly if you’re planning a shorter break or simply don’t fancy a very long drive on arrival day.
Accommodation is a mix of lodges and caravans, and the overall feel is a bit posher than some of the cheaper parks elsewhere in this guide.
Accommodation is a mix of lodges and caravans, and the overall feel is a bit posher than some of the cheaper parks elsewhere in this guide.
Facilities on site
Sandymouth has a strong range of facilities, including:
- An indoor swimming pool
- An indoor sports hall
- Outdoor gym
- Ball pool and playground
- Archery and rifle shooting
- Outdoor activity sessions (such as raft building)
- Restaurant and bar
Beach and location trade-offs
The nearest beach, Sandymouth Bay, is around a mile away and is managed by the National Trust. It’s a dramatic and attractive beach, but it’s worth knowing that exploring the far south and west of Cornwall from here involves a fair bit of driving — around two hours to Land’s End and Penzance, or an hour and a half to the Eden Project.
Reviews and price
Review scores are excellent, averaging 91%, including:
- 4.6/5 on Google Reviews
- 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor
Price (August 2026, family of four):
- £1199 for two adults and two children
- One week in a Prideaux caravan
Why we included Sandymouth Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Sandymouth Holiday Resort earns its place thanks to its excellent review scores, strong facilities, and much easier access compared with many Cornwall holiday parks. It’s particularly appealing if you want a quality stay without committing to a long drive deep into the county.
Our visit to Sandymouth Resort
"The local beach at Sandymouth was a highlight for me with imposing rocky cliffs and sand at low tide. It wasn't as child friendly as some beaches with the approach requiring some clambering and no facilities to speak of, but it's a beautiful spot. There were lifeguards too, although we didn't get much further than paddling."

10. Hendra Holiday Park – large range of facilities, busy atmosphere
Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay is a large, busy family holiday park with caravans, plus camping and touring. It’s a good option if you’d rather use lots of on-site facilities than spend the week driving around Cornwall — but it’s not one to choose if you’re after peace and quiet.
Facilities and things to do
The list of facilities at Hendra is extensive and includes:
- An indoor swimming pool with three flumes
- An outdoor swimming pool
- Family entertainment and kids’ activities
- Bars and restaurants
- Soft play and an adventure playground
- Lifeguard training
- Skate park
- Amusements
Reviews
Large parks often attract mixed reviews, but Hendra scores very well:
- 4.4/5 on TripAdvisor
- 4.6/5 on Google Reviews
Price (August 2026, family of four)
- £1575 for two adults and two children
That price is for one week in a three-bedroom Seaton ‘Classic’ caravan. This is the most expensive park in our Cornwall top ten, but you are paying for the sheer volume of facilities and activities on site.
Why we included Hendra Holiday Park in our top 10 (the short version)
Hendra Holiday Park completes the list as a facility-heavy, family-focused option with excellent review scores. It’s expensive and busy, but if you want maximum choice without leaving the park, it does that job extremely well.

- Polperro Holiday Park - £921 **Winner: best value holiday park**
- Sea Acres Holiday Park - £1069
- Perran Sands Holiday Park - £1085

- Trevella Holiday Park - £1109
- St Ives Bay Holiday Park - £1112
- Sandymouth Holiday Resort - £1199

- Retallack Resort and Spa - £1376
- Hendra Holiday Park - £1575

There isn’t a single “best” park for everyone, which is why we’ve compared ten of the strongest options. Parks like Perran Sands and Hendra are great if you want lots of facilities, while places like Crantock Beach Holiday Park or St Ives Bay make more sense if beach access matters most.
Which Cornwall caravan parks are best for families?
All of the parks in this guide are family friendly, but larger resorts such as Perran Sands, Hendra Holiday Park and Sea Acres offer the widest range of pools, activities and entertainment. Smaller parks can still work well for families, particularly if you’re planning to spend more time at the beach.
Are caravan parks in Cornwall expensive in summer?
Prices in Cornwall are highest during the school summer holidays, particularly in August. For this guide, we compared prices for a family of four staying for a week in August 2026, and found costs ranging from around £900 to £1500, depending on location, facilities and accommodation type. See our guide to cheap holiday parks if you're working to a tighter budget.
Which Cornwall holiday parks are easiest to reach?
If you want to minimise driving time, parks in north and east Cornwall, such as Sandymouth Holiday Resort near Bude or Polperro Holiday Park near Looe, are generally quicker to reach than parks around Penzance or the Lizard Peninsula.
Is it better to stay near the beach or inland?
Beachside parks like St Ives Bay, Perran Sands and Crantock Beach offer easy access to the coast but can be busier in summer. Inland resorts such as Retallack Resort and Spa trade beach proximity for space and on-site activities, which suits some families better.
Final thoughts on Cornwall caravan holiday parks
Cornwall has an unusually wide range of caravan holiday parks, from large, activity-packed resorts to smaller parks focused on location and scenery. That’s great for choice, but it also makes comparisons harder — especially in peak summer weeks when prices and availability change quickly.
This guide is designed to make that comparison easier by showing how the best Cornwall caravan holiday parks differ, rather than trying to force a single “winner”. Whether you prioritise beach access, on-site facilities, value for money or shorter driving times, there should be at least one park here that fits what you’re looking for.
It’s worth checking a few options before committing — and being flexible on arrival dates where possible.
