5 Best Cleethorpes Caravan Holiday Parks 2025
Cleethorpes is a classic seaside resort on the North East Lincolnshire coast, just along from Grimsby. It tends to be popular with visitors from the East Midlands and from East Yorkshire.
As well as the beach, there's a heritage railway called the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, a boating lake and an indoor play area called The Magical Castle.
There aren't actually a huge number of caravan parks and holiday parks in Cleethorpes itself but we've highlighted a couple of the best ones which have easy access to the beach and plenty of accommodation options. We also stretched it a bit to include some lodge resorts that are within a short drive and offer posher accommodation with hot tubs. We didn't include touring parks or campsites where you bring your own accommodation.
Here's our top five, along with a price comparison for the cost of a family holiday during the school summer holidays in 2025.

Here's our top five, along with a price comparison for the cost of a family holiday during the school summer holidays in 2025.
1. Haven Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park (beachside, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, lots of activities)
**Winner: best value caravan park in Cleethorpes**
**Haven's Offers: Summer 2025 from £215 + Christmas 2024/New Year from £99**
Haven's holiday park in Cleethorpes makes a strong case for being the area's best choice for a family seaside caravan park. It was previously known as Haven Thorpe Park before a rebrand in 2023.
You get an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool with flumes and a lazy river. There's also a climbing wall, mini golf, archery, segways, a zip wire and several crafty activities such as pottery painting.
Unusually, you also get a nine-hole golf course and two fishing lakes. Those features are found at a few holiday parks but not many - and it might be the clincher for some anglers/golfers.
There are shows for kids and grown-ups and five different places to eat. Haven shows aren't on the scale of Butlins but they are good fun and will keep them entertainment.
As you would expect from Haven, Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park has easy access to the beach. Some of the caravans are almost on the beach and it's only about 10 minutes' walk from the furthest accommodation to the sand.
Customer reviews of Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park are good, although not quite as spectacular as some other Haven resorts. Scores on TripAdvisor currently average 3.5/5 whilst scores on Google reviews are 4.2/5. That's certainly a respectable score but some Haven resorts score 4/5 or 4.4/5 on TripAdvisor. The nearest alternative Haven resort is Haven Golden Sands near the Humber Estuary, which gets nearly identical scores. Many of the reviews refer to the park in its previous time as Haven Thorpe Park.
It's worth mentioning that Cleethorpes Beach Holiday Park is cheaper than a lot of other Haven holiday parks. If you were booking a similar Haven holiday park in Cornwall or Devon then you might end up paying as much as twice the price.
You can choose with a Haven holiday whether you go for a 'Haven holiday' or 'Haven Hideaway'. A 'Haven Hideaway' holiday just gives you accommodation and access to the restaurants. A standard 'Haven' holiday costs a bit more but it means you can use things like the swimming pool and sign up for the paid activities and attend the entertainment shows.
The amount it costs to upgrade from Haven Hideaway fluctuates depending on the time of year. In winter it might only be a couple of pounds extra per person, per day whilst in summer it might be more like £150 extra for a family of four for a week. We've written a blog about how to choose which option is right for you or you can read the official guide.
The majority of the accommodation at Haven Cleethorpes Beach is caravans. There are a few lodges, but these are certainly in the minority. However, you can choose from various grades including cheaper models ('standard') through to 'platinum with decking' which have a few upgrades such as two TVs.
You can also do camping at touring at Haven Cleethorpes Beach, which is a good value alternative.
Price: £649 for a family of four for a week in August 2025. That was for a Saver caravan, there are plenty of upgrade options if you want to splash out. You might also find that it's cheaper to hire a larger caravan and bring along an aunt rather than hiring two smaller caravans or lodges.

2. Cleethorpes Pearl Holiday Park (outdoor swimming pool, walk to beach)
**Cleethorpes Pearl Discount Code: up to 7% off via this link with code AWRAF7**
Cleethorpes Pearl Holiday Park was previously called Beachcomber Holiday Park, before it was taken over in 2021.
It is now owned by Away Resorts. which is a rival to Haven which has about 25 holiday parks around the UK. It's not quite as well-equipped as Haven's Cleethorpe Beach holiday park (which is next door) but it is still a good option for a caravan holiday in Cleethorpes.
There isn't an indoor swimming pool, but the outdoor pool is a good size. There's a sports bar/restaurant as well as an entertainment venue so you should be able to eat onsite if you want to. Younger visitors have got a couple of playgrounds, a sports court and a children's room which has things like craft activities.
Most of the available reviews refer to Cleethorpes Pearl before it switched to new ownership, but the average score is currently 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.3/5 on Google reviews. That's marginally better than Haven's Cleethorpes Beach (formerly Haven Thorpe Park).
Away Resorts - which runs the site - has two types of accommodation at its parks. The cheaper units are called 'classic' whilst the more expensive option is 'exclusive'. At the time of writing, Cleethorpes Pearl doesn't have the range of different types of accommodation that you get at other Away Resorts holiday parks.
My hunch is that this will change over time, but for now you can choose from a caravan which sleeps 4-8 people or slightly posher 'Burst of Blue' and 'Oakwood' accommodation which have flashier decoration and other upgrades such as earlier check in and towels included.
If you go for a caravan, you can get a 'comfort' model which is cheaper or a superior or luxury model as an upgrade. One key difference is that you can check in earlier to the more expensive caravans.
Getting to the beach takes a little bit longer than it does from Haven Cleethorpes Beach holiday park but it's certainly walkable from Cleethorpes Pearl. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to walk from the entrance of the park to the beach, assuming you aren't carrying a three-year-old and a picnic basket.
Price: £704 for a comfort caravan for a family of four in August 2025. We looked for the cheapest caravan available and didn't add on any extras.

3. Laceby Manor Lodges (posh lodges, hot tubs, golf course, drive to the beach)
Laceby Manor isn't exactly a holiday park, and it isn't exactly in Cleethorpes, but it's got classy accommodation and it's only a 20-minute drive to the seafront. However, we think it's worth a mention because you can sometimes get a lodge here for a similar price to a seafront caravan.
It's also known as The Manor Resort.
The smaller lodges are called The Henley, The Quindi and The Dutch. They're similar in size to a caravan whilst the majority of the lodges are much wider and more spacious.
There are hot tubs with the lodges and lots of them overlook the golf course, which is one of the main reasons people stay at The Manor Resort.
As well as the lodges, they also have some pods which are more of a glamping experience. They're much cheaper but you get a lot less space and fewer luxuries.
You won't find the usual holiday parks facilities here - there's no swimming pool, kids' clubs or amusement arcade. However, there is a restaurant/bar and it's a pleasant rural setting.
It scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.4/5 on Google Reviews.
Price: £1209 for a week in a two-bedroom Henley lodge with a hot tub for a family of four in early August 2025

4. Caister Lakes Leisure Park (fishing, restaurant, adults only)
Caister Lakes Leisure Park is an adults-only resort, so it won't be any good for you if you're bringing along the whole family. It's also very much aimed at anglers, as you can fish directly from your veranda.
It's another one which isn't really a holiday park, but it is relatively close to Cleethorpes so it's worth a mention. On most days it will take you about half an hour in the car to get to the seafront.
The lodges are lovely and spacious and have hot tubs so you can sit out and bubble away. The lodges have two bedrooms.
Besides fishing, there is bike hire available and there's a restaurant onsite.
Customer reviews are outstanding with an average of 4.5/5 or thereabouts on most sites.
Price: £975 for four adults sharing a Puffin lodge with a hot tub for a week in early August 2025. Note that this is the price for four adults - children aren't allowed at this one because they'd scare away the fish.

5. Landal Kenwick Woods (swimming pool, activities, 30-minute drive to beach)
Landal is a big name in Europe, but it's much less well known in the UK. Some of their holiday parks are kind of like mini-Center Parcs resorts, although this particular one doesn't have as many facilities as some. They certainly don't compete with Center Parcs on scale, but they do very well on customer reviews.
Their Kenwick Woods resort is about half an hour's drive from Cleethorpes, so not exactly on the doorstep but certainly worth considering.
The indoor swimming pool is large, though it's a grown-up sort of place rather than a pool with flumes and hippos in swimsuits. There's a golf course, spa facilities and tennis. You can try activities such as archery, axe throwing and shelter building.
The lodges are a step up from your average caravan - but they're not all that more expensive if you get lucky.
Price: £1269 for a week for a family of four in August 2025 in a two-bedroom Maple lodge.
