10 Best Landal GreenParks in Netherlands and Holland - 2025
There are more than 50 Landal GreenParks across the Netherlands, offering affordable family-friendly holiday parks with lots of activities.
We’ve picked out 10 of the best Landal GreenParks in the Netherlands by looking at customer reviews, value for money, activities and location. The parks vary in size and price, although it’s worth saying that most of them get good customer reviews overall.
For an approximate price comparison, we looked for the cheapest accommodation available for a week in August 2025 for a family of four, excluding extra costs such as some activities. We also didn't include the cost of getting there from the UK, although it doesn't vary hugely as the Netherlands is not massive.
Here’s our top 10:

Here’s our top 10:
1. Landal Miggelenberg Gelderland (large park, swimming pool, sports)
**Winner: best value Landal holiday park**
There’s a big choice of Landal GreenParks in Gelderland, which is towards the middle of the Netherlands.
The two with the best reviews at the time of writing are Landal Miggelenberg and Landal Rabbit Hill (see #2).
Landal Heihaas also scores well.
Landal Miggelenberg is a big and busy park that offers lots of entertainment for families. You could easily stay for a week without leaving the park, although you might like to explore the local area! There's an indoor swimming pool and splash park that will appeal to children, as well as an impressive playground.
There are plenty of sports and games (you mostly pay extra for these). Options include bowling, mini golf, bike hire, zip wire and other activities. You can also have spa treatments such as massages on certain days.
Price: £1161 for a week for a family of four in August 2025 staying in a four-person bungalow at Landal Miggelenberg.

2. Landal Rabbit Hill Gelderland (indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bowling, cycle tracks)
Landal Rabbit Hill gives Landal Miggelenberg a good run for its money. It's another large and well-equipped Dutch holiday park with things like a bowling alley, tennis courts, minigolf, an indoor playground, bike tracks and an onsite restaurant.
It's only 20 minutes from Landal Miggelenberg and offers many of the same things. Landal Rabbit Hill is a little closer to Amsterdam - you can be in the city in under an hour on a good day.
Landal Rabbit Hill has a choice of indoor and outdoor swimming pools, whilst Landal Miggelenberg just has an indoor pool. That is probably more of a factor if you are visiting in summer than in spring or autumn. During the summer months, Landal Rabbit Hill offers ‘moonlight swimming’ in the outdoor pool for an added bit of romance (perhaps less likely if you are visiting with children).
Review scores for Landal Rabbit Hill are impressive. It gets 4.5/5 from TripAdvisor reviewers and a similar score on Google reviews. It is a whisker ahead of Landal Miggelenberg but it's so close that I wouldn't say it's a big deal.
Price: £1700 for Landal Rabbit Hill’s cheapest accommodation for a family of four staying for a week in August 2025. In our recent price comparisons, Landal Rabbit Hill and Landal Miggelenberg have taken turns to offer the lowest price. Miggelenberg had the lowest price for 2025 and 2024, but Rabbit Hill was cheaper in 2023. I would check both prices as that may be the clincher.

3. Landal Waterparc Veluwemeer, Flevoland (medium sized waterside park with swimming pools).
Landal Waterparc Veluwemeer is an ideal choice if you want accommodation in a waterside location with a good range of facilities.
There’s a large playground for children as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the beach isn’t far away. There’s also tennis courts, minigolf, fishing and bike hire.
You can take the opportunity to learn to sail, waterski, windsurf or surf.
Reviews average 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.2/5 on Google reviews.
For smaller groups, they've got apartments and compact bungalows. If you're travelling as a big party then you can hire 16 person and 10 person villas.
Price: £1447 for a four-person apartment for a week in August 2025.

4. Landal Hof van Saksen, Drenthe (large park, huge waterslides, loads of activities, outstanding reviews)
There are six Landal GreenParks within Drenthe in the North East of the Netherlands, but Hof van Saksen in Nooitgedacht is really highly regarded and is well worth considering.
When we checked, it was scoring a very impressive 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.6/5 on Google reviews, making it the highest rated of all the Landal GreenParks in the Netherlands (based on combining those scores together to give a score out of 10).
Bring your swimming trunks, because Landal Hof van Saksen has an indoor swimming pool, three waterslides and a ‘wild water course’ where you work your way round a route which is more than 100m long.
It’s also worth realising that the water slides are truly impressive – they aren’t the basic flumes you get at a leisure centre. One of them involves sitting on a four seater ride and sliding down a huge tube.
And that’s not the end of it. Landal Hof van Saksen has five restaurants, a bowling alley, an indoor play area, trampolines, canoeing, spa facilities, bike hire and various other sports. Most of the accommodation is lodges that sleep either 4,6 or 8 people but they do have bigger farmhouses that sleep up to 24 people.
From the UK, you can get a ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland in about 7 hours and then drive for 2 hours 30 minutes. Or you can get the Eurotunnel at Folkestone and then drive about 5 hours from Calais.
Price: £2500 for a week in August 2025 for a family of two adults and two children staying in a two-bedroom semi detached bungalow. For about £250 extra you can get a farmhouse that sleeps six, so you could reduce the cost by bringing along some relatives.
Also consider: Landal Hunerwold State in Wateren in Drenthe gets good reviews.

5. Landal Villapark Vogelmient, Texel (quiet park near the beach)
Landal Villapark Vogelmient is a small holiday park in the coastal Texel region.
It doesn’t have an abundance of onsite activities, but the beach is a short walk away and customer reviews are very positive. They average 4/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.4/5 on Google, although admittedly there weren’t all that many reviews compared to some bigger parks.
It’s the sort of place where you hire bikes or go for a long walk, rather than having lots of entertainment provided for you. There isn’t a restaurant, but they will deliver breakfast rolls to you. There’s a playground and playing field for children, so they can have a break from playing on their smartphones!
The accommodation is detached, modern villas.
Price: £2307 for a family of four, staying in a four-person villa in August 2025.

6. Landal Amerongse Berg, Utrecht (swimming pool, modern accommodation)
Landal Amerongse Berg is quite a small holiday park, but it has a better choice of facilities than most similar-sized parks. The accommodation is also very modern and stylish compared to some holiday parks.
Onsite you will find an indoor swimming pool, steam bath, mini golf, fishing, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, cycling and a playing field.

7. Landal West Terschelling (swimming pool nearby, watersports on the beach)
There are a couple of Landal holiday parks within Terschelling, but I would start with Landal West Terschelling which gets positive reviews (4/5 on TripAdvisor). It’s also one of the cheaper Landal holiday parks within the Netherlands.
It’s a good one to choose if you want to try watersports at the beach or horse riding in the sand dunes nearby. The famous Brandaris Lighthouse is also near to the park.
Onsite there’s a playground and restaurant but you have to walk a short distance to get to an indoor swimming pool which is run separately (and you have to pay an entry fee).
The accommodation is apartments which are for two, four or six people.
Price: £1477 for a week in August 2025 for a family of four, staying in a four-person apartment.

8. Landal De Vlegge, Overijssel (watersports and lake swimming, cheap)
**Winner: cheapest holiday park in our top 10**
Landal De Vlegge doesn’t have a swimming pool, but it is near to a lake for those who want to swim outdoors. It gets very good reviews (4.5/5 on TripAdvisor, 4.3/5 on Google reviews) and it’s one of the cheapest Landal GreenParks we’ve found.
It’s a family friendly park with a good choice of facilities, although it isn’t quite as big and well equipped as parks such as Landal Miggelenberg, Landal Rabbit Hill or Landal Hof van Saksen.

Landal Ameland State is one of Landal’s smaller parks, with simple facilities and a beachside location.
