Caravan Holiday Parks And Lodges Near Leeds And York 2026
Author: Robbie Lane | Last updated: 15 January 2026
There's a decent choice if you're looking for holiday parks near Leeds or holiday parks near York.
The majority can be found around the Yorkshire coast near Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough, where you'll be treated to sandy beaches. Large, family-friendly holiday parks tend to be found around here.
There are also a smaller number of inland holiday parks closer to York, which are a bit quieter.
For people based in Leeds, you'll need to drive for about 90 minutes to two hours to reach big resorts like Haven Thornwick Bay, Haven Primrose Valley and Parkdean Resorts Cayton Bay. These parks offer beach access, indoor swimming pools and a wide range of on-site activities. Personally, I would be hesitant to drive this far for a weekend, but you may have more patience than me!
If you’re travelling from York, the coast is a somewhat quicker journey and you can reach those parks in just over an hour. You can pick from a mix of busy, entertainment-led parks and smaller, great-value sites with fewer facilities.
This guide highlights holiday parks that score well for value, location and customer reviews, ranging from large Haven and Parkdean Resorts with swimming pools and entertainment to cheaper, simpler inland caravan parks.
