5 best holiday parks near Disneyland Paris - 2021
Disneyland Paris comprises two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. They're both big parks, and the official website recommends that you allow three days to visit both - two days at Disneyland Park and one day at Walt Disney Studios Park (our Disneyland Paris v Disney World Florida comparison has more details).
As a result, many people decide to stay on site at one of the official hotels. For those who don't fancy Mickey Mouse 24/7, a cheap alternative is one of the caravan holiday parks nearby.
As a rough guide, entry to Disneyland Paris costs about £50 - £100 for an adult per day and only slightly less for children. There are various discounts and deals depending on the time of year, how many days you visit for and whether you visit one or two of the Disneyland Parks in Paris.
We looked at five of the nearest holiday parks to Disneyland Paris. For our comparison we looked at price, customer reviews and driving distance to Disneyland.

1. La Croix du Vieux Pont Campsite - 1 hour 15 minutes to Disneyland Paris
Please ignore the name - Croix du Vieux Pont Campsite doesn't just offer camping. There's also a good choice of static homes.
It isn't the nearest holiday park to Disneyland Paris, but it's a big and busy site with loads to do without going anywhere near Mickey Mouse. I'd say it's one to consider if you just want one or two days at Disneyland Paris rather than just a base for a whole week of daily visits. Onsite highlights include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bowling, soft play, a restaurant and a family activities programme. There are also two lakes where you can do fishing and watersports. Customer reviews averaged 4/5 when we checked. Price: £1267 for a two bedroom 'comfort' mobile home for a family of four for a week in August 2021. They also have glamping options which are cheaper and big villas which are more expensive. |

2. Camping les Etangs Fleuris - 30 minutes to Disneyland Paris
**Winner: best value holiday park near Disneyland Paris**
Again, despite having the word 'camping' in its title, Camping les Etangs Fleuris does have lots of static homes for hire. The French seem to describe all caravan holiday parks as 'campsites' but we won't hold that against them.
Rather conveniently, the park is only half an hour's drive from Disneyland Paris and it gets terrific customer reviews of 4.5/5 on average. The site's got an outdoor pool, some sports, a playground, fishing and pool. There's a bar onsite so you can spend the day dreaming of a glass of red wine whilst the children are tugging on your arm at Disneyland. Price: 2021 wasn't available when we checked but it was £543 for a 'Classic Mobile Home' for a family of four for a week in August 2020. |
3. Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch - 15 minutes to Disneyland Paris
Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch is the only 'official' Disneyland Paris accommodation on our list. We've included it because it is similar to a holiday park, in that you get the privacy and flexibility of your own bungalow and a kitchen rather than fitting around a hotel's timetable (although you can have half board).
The advantage over other holiday parks in the area is that you still get a flavour of the authentic Disneyland Paris experience. You can dine in Davy Crockett's Tavern, swim in the indoor swimming pool or play minigolf or tennis. Or you can just do your own thing. It's more expensive than most holiday parks in the area, but it's only a 15 minute drive and the price includes entry to the park. Price: £1673 for four nights in early August 2021. It's worth noting that this price is for four nights rather than for a whole week. Most people don't stay at one of the onsite resorts for a whole week. It's also important to note that this price includes entry to the parks. |
4. Camping Le Grand Paris - 1 hour to Disneyland Paris
Camping Le Grand Paris has quite a bit to do onsite, including an outdoor swimming pool, inflatable slide thingys and sports including basketball and table tennis. Nearby, you can also do horse riding.
It's quite a leafy site, with 70 cottages spread over about 15 acres. Some are in pleasant lakeside locations. Reviews are generally around 4/5. Just to confuse you, it's also known on some websites as Yelloh! Village Le Grand Paris and also as Campsite Domaine de l'Etang. Price: 2021 prices weren't available when we checked but it was £588 for a family of four staying for a week in August 2020 in a two bedroom 'Cottage Nono' mobile home |
5. Paris Est-Champigny Campsite - 25 minute drive to Disneyland Paris
Reviews of Paris Est-Champigny Campsite aren't quite as good as some on this list (3/5 when we checked), but it has the major advantage of being about 25 minutes from Disneyland Paris. You'll be grateful for a short drive after a day of wandering in the Parisian summer.
The park doesn't have a lot to offer onsite and it's quite near a busy road, but it's also alongside a river and there's a leisure park nearby which has a few more things to do. Personally, I'd pick this one if you plan to have long days at Disneyland Paris or within Paris itself. It's not too far from the city centre - it'll take you an hour by public transport to reach the Eiffel Tower. Price: 2021 prices weren't available when we checked but it was £576 for a week for a family of four in a classic holiday home for a week in August 2020. |

Staying in a hotel at Disneyland Paris
Staying in one of the onsite hotels at Disneyland Paris is unsurprisingly a more expensive option than most offsite options. However, there is a big range in prices and you do get entry tickets to the two Disneyland Paris parks for the duration of your stay.
