Center Parcs Top tip: Booking via CenterParcs.fr is nearly always cheaper than CenterParcs.eu for exactly the same holiday (often more than €100 cheaper for a week in summer). Your browser will translate CenterParcs.fr to English if you don't speak French! The UK is listed as 'Royaume-Uni' on the booking form. Read more.
5 Best Center Parcs In France 2025
Center Parcs is a popular option for a family holiday in France with loads of activities (most of which you pay extra for) as well as good quality accommodation and places to eat.
They are often considerably cheaper then the UK Center Parcs and are not all that difficult to get to, particularly from southern England.
There are seven Center Parcs to choose from in France, but we’ve ranked our top 5 by looking at customer reviews, value for money, activities and location. Here they are, in order:

There are seven Center Parcs to choose from in France, but we’ve ranked our top 5 by looking at customer reviews, value for money, activities and location. Here they are, in order:
1. Center Parcs Le Bois Aux Daims (best reviews, most activities, mid-priced, fairly long drive)
Le Boix Aux Daims isn’t the closest Center Parc to the UK by car but other factors send it to the top of our list. It's about 5 hours 30 minutes from Calais by car or you can fly to Tours in 90 minutes and then drive for an hour. The resort gets good reviews and is one of their newest parks having been built in 2015.
Customers give it an average of 4/5 on TripAdvisor and Google reviews, giving it an average of 80%. The waterpark ('Aqua Mundo') scores 4.4/5 on Google reviews, making it the best in France.
According to the official website it has just over 100 activities, putting it slightly ahead of the other CenterParcs in France.
You can stay in rather cool treehouses at Le Bois Aux Daims, as well as the usual lodge-style accommodation.
Price: In our price comparisons, we looked for a week in August 2025, a week in early October 2025 and a week over Easter 2025 for a family of four (cheapest accommodation available, excluding any upgrades). We found that Le Boix Aux Daims was generally mid-priced compared to the other Center Parcs in France, with some dates slightly above average price. There wasn't a great deal in it so we still think it is the best value choice.
A family of four people would pay from £1680 in August, from £1580 at Easter and from £568 in October. For comparison, the same dates at Center Parcs Longleat Forest in Wiltshire was £2508 in August, £2198 at Easter or £1128 in October. The October price is double in the UK!

2. Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts (second best reviews, mid-priced, newer park)
Les Trois Forêts is similar to Le Bois Aux Daims in many ways, so if it’s cheaper for the week you are planning on travelling then I would choose that one instead.
It gets slightly lower reviews from customers (3.5/5 on TripAdvisor, 3.9/5 on Google Reviews or 74% overall) but it has almost as many activities as Le Boix Aux Daims. It was built in 2010, so it’s another new park although not quite as new as Le Boix Aux Daims. Les Trois Forêts is the largest Center Parcs in France, based on the area that it covers.
It’s a similar driving distance to Le Boix Aux Daims from the UK (about 5 hours 30 minutes' drive from Calais). However, it is one of the quicker Center Parcs to travel to by plane. A direct flight from London to Strasbourg takes about 95 minutes and then it's an hour's drive to the resort.
Reviews for the swimming pool at Les Trois Forets are 4.2/5, putting it a little bit behind Le Boix Aux Daims.
Price: Les Trois Forêts was cheaper than Les Bois Aux Daims in most of our price comparisons. A week in August 2025 for a family of four started at £1526 (about £150 cheaper than Les Bois Aux Daims), whilst a week at Easter 2025 was £300 cheaper at £1277. However, a week in October 2025 was £80 more expensive at £645.

3. Center Parcs Les Villages Nature Paris (less good reviews and most expensive - but more convenient)
Center Parcs Les Villages Nature Paris is an unusual Center Parcs because it is a joint venture with Disneyland Paris. As a result, you get the facilities of a CenterParcs alongside easy access to the theme parks at Disneyland Paris.
Of course, that means you pay considerably more than you do for some Center Parcs in France. Its prices have dropped a little bit recently, but it is still relatively expensive.
Customer reviews average 3/5 on TripAdvisor or 3.6/5 on Google reviews, which is 66% overall. That is quite a long way behind Le Boix Aux Daims and Les Trois Forets. Some reviewers highlight issues with cleanliness and others say that they were very hot due to a lack of air conditioning. However, there are also lots of positive reviews.
Lots of customers enjoy the onsite waterpark ('Aqualagon' or 'Aqua Mundo'), which scores 4.3/5, making it one of the highest scoring in France.
It also has the advantage of being a couple of hours closer to Calais than Le Boix Aux Daims and Les Trois Forets by car and you get the very definite advantage of being able to visit Disneyland Paris without facing a big drive at the end of the day. If you are flying, then it is still the quickest of the seven Center Parcs in France but the difference is less significant. The flight from London to Paris takes about 80 minutes and then it's a 40 minute drive to the resort.
There are fewer activities to most other Center Parcs in France but still plenty to occupy several days. It’s a very new park, having opened in 2017.
The accommodation at Center Parcs Les Villages Nature Paris is a mix of cottages and apartments. The cottages are similar to the woodland lodges at Center Parcs UK, whilst the apartments are more like suites in a hotel. See more details here.
Price: as mentioned earlier, Les Villages Nature was one of the most expensive options in all our price comparisons. A week for a family of four in August 2025 started at £1687, which is the second most expensive Center Parcs in France. At Easter 2025 it was £1580. In October 2025 it was £746, about £200 more than the cheapest option.

4. Center Parcs Les Hauts Des Bruyeres (quite good reviews, older resort)
Les Hauts Des Bruyeres is a good choice if you want a cheap Center Parks in France. In our price comparisons it was similarly priced to Les Bois-Francs but it gets slightly better reviews (3.5/5 on TripAdvisor compared to 3/5). Its overall review score is 74%, putting it in joint second place alongside
Les Bois-Francs is an hour closer to Calais, so is a bit easier for UK travellers by car. However, Les Hauts Des Bruyeres is more convenient than Les-Bois Francs if you are coming by plane. The flight to France takes 1 hour 20 minutes from London and then it's a 1 hour 25 minute drive to Les Hauts Bruyeres or a two hour drive to Les Bois Francs.
Les Hauts Des Bruyeres has plenty of activities with 99 different things to do. Some similar activities are counted as two or three things, but there is still plenty to keep you busy. It’s one of the oldest Center Parcs in France, having opened in 1993.
The resort has had a five year revamp, which finished in 2024 and included updates to hundreds of VIP Cottages, Premium Cottages and Comfort Cottages. Improvements were also made to the Deep Nature Spa in 2022 and other communal areas have been renovated.
Most of the accommodation at Les Hauts Bruyeres are standard 2-3 bedroom cottages (i.e. woodland lodges) but they also have some six bedroom properties that sleep up to 12 people.
Price: Les Hauts Des Bruyeres was one of the cheaper options in our price comparisons. A week in August 2025 started from £1499 for a family of four, whilst a week at Easter 2025 was £1479. At October 2025, it was the second cheapest resort of them all at £544.

5. Les Landes de Gascogne (newest resort, longest drive, mid-table reviews)
For our fifth and final place, I was torn between Les Landes de Gascogne and Le Lac d'Ailette.
For UK travellers, the main advantage of Le Lac d'Ailette is that it is the closest Center Parcs to Calais (2 hours 30 minute drive). That might make it a good option for a long weekend as you can get to Calais from Folkestone with the car on the 35-minute Eurotunnel.
Besides that, Le Lac d'Ailette is hit and miss. On the down side, it only scores 3/5 on TripAdvisor or 67% overall. However, it offers about 100 activities and is still quite new, having opened in 2007. It's also one of the cheapest Center Parcs in France, which is a big bonus.
Meanwhile, Les Landes de Gascogne is the newest Center Parcs resort in France, having opened in May 2022. It is smaller than most Center Parcs resorts, so you will find it easier to get around. That does mean it has a smaller range of activities than the other resorts (80 activities compared to 90-115 at most other resorts).
The swimming pool has activities including a wild river, wave pool, whirlpool, a slide with two-seater boats and a twin flume which you can race down. Overall, the resort is more of a mid-table performer with reviewers. Les Landes de Gascogne scores 3.9/5 on Google Reviews and 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor or 74% overall.
The main downside is that Les Landes de Gascogne is in Southern France, between Toulouse and Bordeaux. You might get slightly warmer weather but it's a colossal drive of nearly 10 hours from Calais. You can fly direct from London to Bordeaux or Toulouse in about 1 hour 45 minutes and then drive for another 1 hour 45 minutes.
Price: Le Lac d'Ailette was the second cheapest Center Parcs in all our comparisons. Prices for a family of four started at £1223 at Easter 2025. In August, it was also second cheapest at £1445. In early October it was £544.
Les Landes de Gascogne was a little more expensive during peak weeks, which is often the case with newer Center Parcs resorts. The cheapest week in Easter 2025 for a family of four was £1768. August 2025 was about £450 more than Le Lac d'Ailette at £1909. For holidays in early October 2025, the best price we found was a bargain at £564.
