Where would my children be without Peppa Pig to keep them entertained? They'd probably be reading a book or playing in the garden, but let's not worry about that.
Peppa Pig World is a great day out or two for younger children. It's on the same site as Paultons Park, so you buy a ticket for one and then you can wander as you please.
We visited after a fairly long drive, which was not a good idea. By the end of it, there were tears and tantrums - and the kids were grumpy too (arf arf).
A more sensible option is to stay at a nearby caravan holiday park or a lodge resort. There are plenty to choose from in the area, and many of them have lots of activities onsite and good reviews. Sure, it's got a hilarious name but Sandy Balls is actually a popular holiday park as well. It's run by a company called Away Resorts which owns half a dozen caravan parks across the UK.
It's a family-friendly, busy park, so you won't feel self conscious if your child decides to wake at 5am and noisily demands to leave for Peppa Pig World immediately.
Sandy Balls Holiday Village is just skirting around the edge of the New Forest, which is the sort of place where ponies roam free and occasionally cross the road in front of your car.
The park has quite a lot of family fun onsite, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, archery, soft play, a playground, outdoor cinema, bike hire and, er, axe throwing.
As well as being near to Peppa Pig World, it's also only half an hour from the beach at Bournemouth, so that caters for at least a couple of days of your holiday, right?

Shorefield has got a couple of holiday parks, but Oakdene Forest Park in Dorset is a good one for visiting Peppa Pig World.
Reviews are about 4/5 or 4.5/5 and you can waste a day or two at the park itself thanks to the selection of sports and activities. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are the kind with family-friendly stuff to do whilst there's an outdoor play area, crazy golf and fencing. There's also evening and children's entertainment, if that's your sort of thing.
Some of the quirkier activities include crossbow and a virtual reality room (well, it's quirky to me, younger readers probably consider it quite day-to-day). Some activities cost extra so you might want to budget for that.

Haven's Church Farm Holiday Park isn't as close to Peppa Pig World as the other resorts in this list. However, it's the closest that is run by Haven, which is a big plus point for a lot of people.
Haven has a good reputation for its holiday parks around the UK, which tend to score higher with reviewers than some rivals. This one is on the outskirts of Bognor Regis and scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.3/5 on Google Reviews.
Church Farm is a dog friendly caravan park, which also has some lakeside lodges if you want to upgrade. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes away on foot. It's a shingly beach rather than golden sands, but it's a nice spot.
There's an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool. The indoor pool has a flume which will satisfy kids (and dads). The resort has also got an arcade, a sports court, playground, a couple of places to eat out and various onsite activities and sports including archery, minigolf and bungee trampolines. Some activities cost extra.
Price: £655 for a family holiday for a week in August 2025. That's in the cheapest accommodation available including use of the swimming pool and other facilities. It's about £120 cheaper if you just want accommodation.

4. Solent Breezes Holiday Park - 35 minutes to Peppa Pig World
Solent Breezes Holiday Park isn't on the same scale as some caravan sites, but we've included it because of its excellent sea views across the Solent. Anglers will be excited at the thought of some sea fishing and it's also a good spot to watch cruise ships and container ships sailing past.
The holiday park has an outdoor swimming pool which is heated. There's no indoor swimming pool. You can watch some entertainment and get something to eat in the Clubhouse which was recently refurbished.
If you've got time and energy after a trip to Peppa Pig World, there's a tennis court and a playground onsite.
Customer reviews for Solent Breezes Holiday Park average about 4/5. It was recently taken over by a company called Park Holidays UK, which owns more than 40 caravan sites around the country.
Price: £1059 for a family of four staying in a Gold Plus caravan for a week in August 2025. This was the cheapest grade available when we searched. It's worth noting that for £100 extra you could get a caravan with an extra bedroom. It sleeps eight people, which would be a good price per person.

5. Hoburne Bashley Holiday Park - 30 minutes to Peppa Pig World
Hoburne Bashley Holiday Park scores a very respectable 4/5 or 4.5/5 from most reviewers and it has a good selection of stuff to do onsite (before you get around to heading off to Peppa Pig World).
There's the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness area, kids' clubs, soft play, somewhere to eat and a nine hole golf course.
It's also just about within the New Forest, meaning you get a rural location and only a short drive to the coast. Alternatively, you can drive 15 minutes to Lymington if you fancy a day out to the Isle of Wight.
At the cheaper end you'll find caravans for four to six people, whilst there are also lodges with hot tubs if you can afford an upgrade.
Meanwhile, Hoburne Naish is the sister park to Hoburne Bashley. The parks get pretty similar reviews overall and are both family-friendly caravan sites for planning a holiday around a day or six at Peppa Pig World.
The advantage of Hoburne Naish is that it is nearer to the sea, with distant sea views from the cliff tops. The park's got indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an entertainment complex with Sky TV etc, crazy golf, tennis, soft play, basketball and kids' clubs. It has posh lodges with hot tubs, as well as cheaper caravans and bungalows. However, it was much more expensive in our price comparison.
Price: £1784 for a week in August 2025 for four people in a 'Classic Plus caravan' at Hoburne Bashley. The same holiday at Hoburne Naish was £1838 when we checked.

Price comparison of 5 caravan holiday parks near Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park
For our price comparison we looked for a week's holiday in the cheapest accommodation available. We searched for the price for a family of four (two adults and two children) for a week at peak season, in early August 2025. Our searches were carried out in November 2024. We didn't buy any extras or upgrades such as insurance or activities, and bear in mind that you can sometimes save money with discount codes and last-minute offers.
