We've picked a selection from around the country, so you won't have to endure a colossal car journey with impatient children (and spouses).

What to look for in a holiday park with a hot tub
Hot tubs are now fairly common at UK holiday parks, but there are still some big differences between resorts. These are the things we always check before booking.
Type of accommodation
Most holiday parks offer hot tubs with either lodges or caravans. Lodges with hot tubs tend to be more spacious and luxurious, while caravans with hot tubs are usually the cheapest way to book a hot tub holiday. Caravans tend to be 10 foot to 14 foot wide, whilst lodges are usually 18 foot to 22 foot wide.
Private hot tubs vs shared facilities
The hot tubs included on this page are private hot tubs, meaning they are attached to your lodge or caravan and only used by your group. Some holiday parks also have shared spa pools as part of the swimming pool. These aren't really as appealing in our opinion!
Facilities at the holiday park
Some parks with hot tubs are large family resorts with swimming pools, entertainment, playgrounds and restaurants, while others are quieter lodge parks with fewer facilities but more peaceful surroundings. We've included a mix in our top 10. Parks such as Perran Sands and Retallack have plenty to do on site, whilst Forest Holidays Sherwood Forest requires you to leave the site for entertainment.
Location and surroundings
Think about whether you want a beachside holiday park, a woodland lodge park or a resort close to national parks and attractions. A hot tub is great, but the location often makes the biggest difference to the holiday.
Price differences
Hot tub accommodation usually costs more than standard caravans or lodges. Prices vary a lot between parks, particularly in peak summer weeks. Booking early or travelling outside school holidays can make hot tub holidays much cheaper - although I admit that's not always possible!
The 10 Best Holiday Parks With Hot Tubs in the UK
Barmouth Bay Holiday Park, North Wales (beach and mountains, indoor swimming pool)
Best for: beach holidays and exploring Snowdonia
Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: caravans and lodges
- Review score: 90% (TripAdvisor and Google average)
- Nearest beach: right next to the park
- Key facilities: indoor pool, playground, sports court
- Price in our comparison: £1851 for a week in August 2026
**Barmouth Bay Discount Code: up to 10% off via this link with code DOGFRIENDLY10 until 31/12/26**
Barmouth Bay Holiday Park in Wales combines a cracking location with better-than-average accommodation. Hot tubs are available with their superior caravans which have two or three bedrooms. They also have some hot tub lodges.
In one direction is a huge stretch of sandy beach. In the other direction is Snowdonia, which is excellent for exploring (or just nice for looking at if you aren't inclined to hike with children).
The resort is run by Away Resorts which is becoming a big name in the holiday park market. They've got about 10 resorts around the UK, but are buying up more sites.
Barmouth Bay is one of their higher rated holiday parks. Reviewers give it a score of 90%, which is very impressive for a relatively large holiday park. We figured that out by adding together its reviews on TripAdvisor (4.4/5) and Google Reviews (4.6/5).
There's an indoor swimming pool, plus a modern adventure playground and a sports court. The main thing lacking at Barmouth Bay Holiday Park is an onsite restaurant. However, The Sands bar is only a few metres outside of the site so it's hardly a big deal.
Price: £1851 for a Superior caravan with a hot tub for a family of four in August 2026. That price is for a week's holiday and was based on arriving on a Saturday, which is often more expensive than arriving on a Monday at Barmouth Bay. A Saturday arrival was the only option for this particular week.

Best for: beach access and family facilities
Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: chalets, caravans and lodges
- Review score: 82%
- Nearest beach: Whitecliff Bay (steep path access)
- Key facilities: indoor pool, outdoor pool, entertainment, soft play
- Price in our comparison: £2027 for a week in August 2026
**Whitecliff Bay Discount Code: up to 10% off via this link with code DOGFRIENDLY10 until 31/12/26**
Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park is one of the bigger and better holiday parks on the Isle of Wight. In the last few years they've invested a lot in luxury lodges with hot tubs, rather than just offering basic caravans. My hunch is that they've realised that a lot of people want a well-equipped holiday park and are willing to pay for better accommodation.
If you want to keep the price down, go for a caravan with a hot tub or chalet with a hot tub. If you can afford it, you can get posher accommodation with hot tubs which sleep up to eight. The luxury lodges with hot tubs are a more spacious version of a caravan whilst The TriBeCa and The Rockstar have funkier décor.

Location, swimming pools and our visit to Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park
We've been to Whitecliff Bay a few times, both as a guest and as a visitor to the beach.
The beach is certainly the highlight of Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. It's a fantastic sandy beach that is only really used by two different holiday parks.
On our visits we've always noted that the path down to the beach is very steep. There is a resting point halfway up the path, but it's a steep gradient and is exhausting if you are pushing a pram.
The good news it that this steep climb and its location means that it's not very busy compared to similarly attractive beaches.
There are two swimming pools at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park - one indoor and one outdoor. We've used them both and enjoyed both. The indoor pool is relatively small and was busy when we visited, whilst the outdoor pool is great if you happen to stay during a heatwave (we didn't but we didn't mind it).
There's also a sauna, playground, soft play, crazy golf, evening entertainment and outdoor cinema in the summer.
Another plus point with Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park is that they get a special price for the Isle of Wight ferry. Sometimes they can it for about half the price that you'd pay by going direct to the ferry companies.
Customer reviews for Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park average 82%, including 4/5 on TripAdvisor and 4.2/5 on Google Reviews.
Price: £2027 for a week in a 'Superior Chalet' with a hot tub at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park in August 2026. That price is for a family of four in a two-bedroom chalet.

Sandy Meadows Lodge Park, Somerset (swimming pool, 10 minutes from the beach)
Best for: peaceful lodge breaks with excellent reviews
Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: lodges
- Review score: 92%
- Nearest beach: about 10 minutes’ walk
- Key facilities: indoor pool and clubhouse at neighbouring Sandy Glade
- Price in our comparison: £1987 for a week in August 2026
**Sandy Meadows Offers: save up to 30% on last minute deals**
Sandy Meadows Lodge Park is an excellent shout for a hot tub holiday in Somerset. Look for the 'Platinum Hot Tub Lodge' when you search for holidays.
The park is right next door to Sandy Glade Holiday Park, which is owned by the same company. The idea is that you stay at Sandy Meadows but use the much bigger range of facilities at Sandy Glade. That includes a sauna, indoor swimming pool, takeaway, clubhouse, kids' clubs and table tennis.
Sandy Meadows scores very well with reviewers. We compared all the parks owned by John Fowler Holidays and found Sandy Meadows was right at the top on customer ratings with a score of 92%.
It's about half a mile from the park to the nearest beach, which will take you about 10 minutes on foot. Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare are both close enough for a day out.
Somerset doesn't quite have the same trendy appeal as Devon or Cornwall but it's a lovely county (in my opinion). It's also considerably easier to reach from the Midlands. For example, Birmingham to Sandy Meadows Lodge Park is only two hours' drive whereas Birmingham to St Ives in Cornwall is 4 hours 30 minutes.
Price: £1987 for a week in early August 2026 for a family of four. That was a three-bedroom Gold lodge, but they also have two bedroom models.

Shorefield Country Park, New Forest (swimming pools, restaurant)
Best for: New Forest location and good onsite facilities
Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: caravans and lodges
- Review score: 84%
- Nearest beach: Milford on Sea (about 1 mile)
- Key facilities: indoor and outdoor pools, fishing, tennis, restaurant
- Price in our comparison: £2042 for a week in August 2026
There are a couple of holiday parks within the New Forest that offer hot tub holidays.
Shorefield Country Park is our pick, but I would also take a look at Sandy Balls Holiday Village, which has hot tub lodges and is another popular resort.
Shorefield Country Park has got something to keep most families happy. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fishing, play areas, tennis and a bar/restaurant called Tides.
Milford on Sea is the nearest beach. It's about a mile away, so it will take about 20 minutes to walk there. I'd say the distance from the coast is the main downside with the resort. However, you can get to Peppa Pig World/Paultons Park within 40 minutes.
Shorefield Country Park scores a solid 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.4/5 on Google Reviews, which is 84% on average.
Price: £2042 for a 'Sublime Caravan' (2 bedrooms) at Shorefield Country Park for a week in August 2026.

Oakdene Forest Park, Dorset (woodland, swimming pools)
Best for: woodland setting and family activities
Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: caravans, lodges and treehouses
- Review score: 83%
- Nearest beach: Bournemouth area (about 30 minutes’ drive)
- Key facilities: indoor pool with flume, gym, playgrounds, archery
- Price in our comparison: £1646 for a week in August 2026
Oakdene Forest Park is a good choice if you want a holiday park with hot tubs in a woodland setting, rather than easy beach access. You can reach the sandy beaches around Bournemouth in half an hour in the car, but it's not as convenient as some.
You can choose from a caravan with hot tub, a lodge with a hot tub or a treehouse with a hot tub at Oakdene. The two-bed caravans were about a quarter of the the price of the three-bed treehouses when we checked.
There are woodland walks at Oakdene Forest Park, as well as two swimming pools onsite. The indoor pool has a flume to keep children (and dads) entertained. Other facilities include a gym, archery, playgrounds and entertainment in the evenings.
Reviews for Oakdene Forest Park are 3.9/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.4/5 on Google Reviews. That's 83% on average.
Price: £1646 for a 'Sublime Caravan' with hot tub. That's the price for a week in early August 2026 for a family of four. It's a 13 foot wide caravan, which is larger and more spacious than average. For comparison, Haven's cheapest caravans are 10 foot wide, and their most expensive models are 14 foot wide.

Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: caravans and lakeside lodges
- Review score: 79%
- Nearest beach: Skegness area (about 45 minutes’ drive)
- Key facilities: watersports lake, inflatable aqua park, outdoor lido

**Tattershall Lakes Discount Code: up to 10% off via this link with code DOGFRIENDLY10 until 31/12/26**
Tattershall Lakes Holiday Park is an unusual resort, as it's got a big focus on watersports. The accommodation is based around a series of lakes where you can do things like paddleboarding, pedalos, water skiing and kayaking. There's also a large inflatable water park where you can climb on top of things and leap into the water.
In 2020, they added a 'lido' which is a large outdoor swimming pool where you can lounge around and enjoy the, er, Lincolnshire sunshine.
The hot tubs are available with most grades of accommodation. The cheaper options are caravans with hot tubs but there are also lakeside lodges with hot tubs and funkier lodges with quirky designs (Rockstar, TriBeCa).
Customer reviews of Tattershall Lakes average 3.7/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.2/5 on Google Review (or 79% on average).
We've written a full guide to Tattershall Lakes.
Price: £1482 for a Superior Caravan with a hot tub for a week in August 2026. That's the price for a family of four, although you can fit eight people in that model of caravan. If you don't mind living on top of each other for a week then that brings the price down to £35 per person, per night.

**Retallack Resort Discount Code: up to 10% off via this link with code DOGFRIENDLY10 until 31/12/26**
Retallack Resort and Spa isn't right by the beach but it makes up for it with an onsite aqua park, surf simulator, wakeboarding lessons and classy wooden lodges with hot tubs. Several of the lodges overlook the lakes. Most sleep four or six but they have some which sleep eight or twelve people and are designed for big family holidays.
The resort also has its own indoor swimming pool, a gym and spa treatments. You can eat out at a bar and restaurant called The Lookout or at the café which sits alongside the aqua park. You pay extra for most of the activities.

Haven doesn't usually do accommodation with hot tubs at its caravan holiday parks. One of the only exceptions are the Beach Houses at Perran Sands Holiday Park in Cornwall (the other is Haven Golden Sands in Lincolnshire).
These really are rather lovely, with sea views, plenty of space inside and dining space outside. The downside is that they are very expensive in peak season and there aren't many of them.
The Perran Sands resort is one of Haven's most popular and it has easy access to a nice beach. If you feel inclined, you can sign up for surfing and paddleboard lessons. Reviews average 80% across TripAdvisor and Google Reviews.
Back on the main site, there's a choice of indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports court, mini golf, playgrounds and restaurants/takeaways. Haven holidays also provide come with evening entertainment and other activities you can pay extra for, such as segways and archery.
Price: £4889 for a Beach House with a hot tub for a family of four in August 2026.
If you want to save a bit of money and don't want to use the facilities, you can just go for a Haven Hideaway holiday. That entitles you to use the restaurants, but you can't use the swimming pools or other facilities.

- Review score: 85%

- Key facilities: indoor pool, gym, fishing lakes, spa
- Price in our comparison: £1563 including leisure pass
Hot tubs are available with several of the gold and platinum lodges at South Lakeland Leisure Village. Some of the accommodation overlooks the lakes, which adds to the appeal.
It is certainly one of the best value options for those looking for a holiday park with hot tub included. Reviews currently average 85%.
The resort is in Yorkshire, but its location is also good for exploring the Lake District or Lancashire. You can reach Windermere in 25 minutes in the car, or Morecambe Bay in just 15 minutes. It's close to the M6, which helps with travel times, but does mean it isn't entirely silent.
South Lakeland Leisure Village has a rather nice swimming pool and gym, but you have to pay for a leisure pass to use them. You can expect to pay about £120 for a family of four for a week. There are also spa treatments which you pay extra for.
If you go for the cheaper lodges then you won't get the passes included, but you can pay extra for them.
Another plus point with South Lakeland Leisure Village is that it has fishing lodges with hot tubs. That may be the clincher for some members of your party...
Price: £1447 for a 'Silver' Two Bedroom Lodge with Hot Tub in August 2026. As mentioned earlier, you pay £116 extra to be able to use the swimming pool and gym for that week. That takes the total to £1563, which is the figure we will include in our comparison.

Forest Holidays Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire (woodland, cycling, high ropes)
Best for: woodland log cabins and outdoor activities
Key Facts
- Accommodation with hot tub: log cabins
- Review score: 89%
- Nearest major attraction: Sherwood Pines Country Park next door
- Key facilities: forest activities, cycling trails, Go Ape nearby
- Price in our comparison: £1905 for a week in August 2026
The Forest Holidays resort at Sherwood Forest is a bit different to the other hot tub holidays in our top 10. It doesn't have the facilities of a family-friendly holiday park, but we've included it because there are good facilities nearby and its average review score is a dazzling 89%.
I would say it's a good choice for those who want luxury lodges with hot tubs rather than simpler accommodation.
The log cabins with hot tubs are right within the woodland and have something of a Center Parcs vibe to them.
You don't get access to a swimming pool or a clubhouse. However, it's based alongside Sherwood Pines Country Park, which has excellent cycle routes and a Go Ape course that we have visited. That means that older children will be able to do things like high ropes and zip wires.
There's also archery and forest ranger activities such as shelter building.
There are similar Forest Holidays resorts around the UK, including those in Hampshire, Yorkshire, Cornwall, Cheshire, Gloucestershire, Norfolk, Scotland and Wales.
Price: £1905 for one of their two bedroom 'Silver Birch' forest lodges with hot tubs. That's the price for a family of four for a week in August 2026.

Price: £1905 for one of their two bedroom 'Silver Birch' forest lodges with hot tubs. That's the price for a family of four for a week in August 2026.
Price comparison of the UK's best holiday parks with hot tubs
We wanted to know how much a family of four would pay for a week in peak season. In August, you are unlikely to get cheap log cabins with hot tubs or cheap caravans with hot tubs, but there's still a big range in prices. You will certainly pay much less outside of school holidays.
We just looked for the cheapest accommodation available, which was usually a caravan or a lodge. It's worth acknowledging that there is quite a range in the level of accommodation that you are getting for your money. Some are compact caravans, others are luxurious beach houses.
We've ranked them from cheapest to most expensive and didn't include things like upgrades or travel costs. We checked prices in October 2025. You'll find that prices creep up nearer to August 2026, as the cheaper lodges and caravans with hot tubs get booked up.

Frequently asked questions about holiday parks with hot tubs
Should I book a caravan with a hot tub or a lodge with a hot tub?
If there's not a huge difference in price then I would always go for a lodge instead of a caravan. Typical caravans are about 12 foot wide and feel quite compact, whilst lodges are typically about 20 foot wide and feel much more spacious. Single beds in caravans are often narrower than the ones you have at home whilst lodges usually have standard sizes. I'd say it's more of a big deal if you are filling your caravan to capacity!
Do Parkdean Resorts have hot tubs at their holiday parks?
About a quarter of Parkdean Resorts have hot tubs including Fallbarrow Holiday Park in the Lake District and Warmwell Holiday Park in Dorset. Many of the resorts with hot tubs give you the choice of lodges or caravans. Read the full guide to Parkdean Resorts with hot tubs.
Do Haven holiday parks have hot tubs?
Generally, Haven don't have hot tubs at their holiday parks. There are a couple of exceptions including Perran Sands Holiday Park in Cornwall and Haven Golden Sands in Lincolnshire - but both are limited to a small number of properties.
Which Center Parcs have private hot tubs?
All five f England's Center Parcs resorts have hot tubs as an option - but only if you upgrade to the 'Exclusive Lodges'. These four bedroom properties don't come cheap. A week during peak season for a group of eight people will often cost you more than £7000! See our Center Parcs accommodation guide.
