What Is The Cheapest Accommodation Near Disneyland Paris?
Simple summary without the waffle: in our price comparison, the cheapest places to stay near Disneyland were - remarkably - two of the official resort hotels (Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe and Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch). This is because you get a massive discount on entry price bundled in with your accommodation. Local hotels, semi-official 'partner hotels' and holiday parks were all more expensive overall for a three night holiday including Disneyland theme park tickets. Camping was £30 cheaper in one comparison but hardly enough to warrant three nights in a tent miles from from Disneyland!
I’d say there are six main options for a cheap holiday at Disneyland Paris.
This guide is going to compare the cost of all six to figure out the cheapest way to visit Disneyland Paris from the UK.
Your six options are:
We’re going to compare the cost of these six options to see which works out cheapest. We will look at two sets of dates:
We will also include the cost of theme park entry which varies throughout the year. There are two theme parks at Disneyland Paris. The larger theme park is Disneyland Park whilst the smaller theme park is called Walt Disney Studios. Most tickets give you the freedom to visit either park, so we will include that ticket type in our comparison.
This guide is going to compare the cost of all six to figure out the cheapest way to visit Disneyland Paris from the UK.
Your six options are:
- One of the cheaper Disneyland Paris official hotels. Some of these are actually pretty affordable as they bundle in entry tickets to the theme parks.
- Official ‘partner hotels’. Again, you can get entry tickets and a shuttle bus included which can make them quite good value.
- Local hotels near to Disneyland Paris which aren't 'partners'. With this option, you will need to book your own Disneyland theme park tickets.
- Cheap French holiday parks. Again, you will need to buy Disneyland entry tickets separately. You can either go for a big name like Center Parcs or Eurocamp or an independent park.
- Look for a privately owned holiday home near to Disneyland Paris on sites like Airbnb or Booking.com.
- Try Camping near to Disneyland Paris
We’re going to compare the cost of these six options to see which works out cheapest. We will look at two sets of dates:
- a three night midweek break in August 2024 (on peak, booked a couple of months in advance)
- a three night weekend break in March 2024 (off peak, booked long in advance).
Option 1: official Disneyland Paris hotels
You may be surprised to see quite how affordable some of the official Disneyland Paris hotels are.
Sure, you can pull out all the stops and pay thousands of pounds for luxurious accommodation at the flagship Disneyland Hotel.
But you can also stay at one of the cheaper hotels or resorts.
The prices may seem high at first, but once you factor in the included entry tickets they will start to look a lot better value. The cheapest option is usually Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch or Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe.
Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is a self catering site with a swimming pool. It is about 15 minutes' drive from the Disneyland Paris theme parks entrance so you will need a car. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is closer to the theme parks so you can get the Eurostar from London to Disneyland Paris and then walk to and from the theme parks.
Both of these score 4/5 on TripAdvisor.

Let's get onto prices:
- For August 2024, the cheapest price we found was £1369 which was at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. That includes four days entry to the theme parks and three nights accommodation. We looked at midweek dates. You don't pay to park at Disneyland Paris because you are using one of the official resorts.
- In March 2024, the price was £1166. That included three nights and four days and was at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe was a very similar price. Breakfast isn't included but you can add it as an extra at Hotel Santa Fe.
Option 2: official Disneyland 'partner' hotels
There are a handful of 'partner hotels' which aren't run by Disney but which have got their seal of approval. As with the 'official' Disney hotels, you get entry to the theme parks included. You also get a free shuttle bus which takes about 10 minutes to get to the Disneyland Paris theme parks (or you can walk if you prefer).
Right then, onto the prices:
Based on this small sample, the cheaper Disney hotels seem to be lower priced than the cheaper partner hotels.
Right then, onto the prices:
- For August 2024, the cheapest available hotel was Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe which was £1825. That includes entry to the theme parks for four days, accommodation for three nights and shuttle buses. It also includes breakfast as standard, so that makes it slightly better value. Campanile Val de France was priced at £1842 for a similar package.
- In March 2024, there was a much better choice but prices didn't blow our sock offs. The cheapest partner hotel was Campanile Val de France at £1671. Again, you get four days entry to the theme parks, three nights accommodation and shuttle buses to the theme parks. Breakfast costs extra. The hotel scores 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor. Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe was similarly priced at £1680 for the same package.

**Plan ahead! Order Mickey Mouse ears from Amazon for £3 (instead of paying £20+ at Disneyland!)**
Option 3: 'unofficial' hotels near Disneyland Paris
Your third option is to look beyond the 'official' Disneyland Paris options and book your own hotel in the area.
The downside of this option is that you don't get the free shuttle bus to the theme parks. You'll either be figuring out public transport or you will need to bring a car and pay to park at Disneyland Paris (about £25 per day).
We found a couple of cheap hotels which aren't too far away called Hôtel Dali Val d'Europe and Résidence Du Parc Val d'Europe. Both offered breakfast but you have to pay extra for it.
For our price comparison, we found the following prices:

For our price comparison, we found the following prices:
- For August 2024, the cheapest room at Hôtel Dali Val d'Europe was £635 whilst Residhome Val d'Europe was £515 . That was the price for four people staying for three nights but didn't include breakfast. Residhome Val d'Europe had slightly better reviews but is a mile further away from the parks.
That seems like a good price but here's the problem....
We then need to add on the cost of entry to the Disneyland Paris parks, which is £1248 for four days in August for four people. The hotel is only 11 minutes drive from the Disneyland Park car park but you'll pay another £100 to park at the theme parks for four days. So, our grand total is £1863. - In March 2024, the cheapest option was Résidence Du Parc Val d'Europe at just £209. Again, we looked for the price for a family of four for three nights and didn't include breakfast (it was £9 extra per person, per day). We then added on the cost of tickets for four days at the Disneyland Paris theme parks which was £922. Finally, we added the cost of parking (£25 per day) to give us a final figure of £1231.
Option 4: cheap holiday park near Disneyland Paris
There are a few holiday parks near to Disneyland Paris but the choice isn’t quite as massive as you might think. We explore this more in our guide to the five best holiday parks near Disneyland Paris.
Eurocamp's Croix du Vieux Pont Campsite is a popular choice but it is 1 hour 15 minutes drive to Disneyland Paris. It gets good reviews but that’s quite a long drive after a day walking round Disneyland Paris with children.
There’s a Center Parcs resort very near to Disneyland Paris which many people go for. However, it’s not particularly cheap and it doesn’t get very good reviews. Most of the negative comments on review sites are about a lack of air conditioning or issues around cleanliness (read our full guide to Center Parcs Village Nature Paris).
Anyway, this guide is all about a cheap holiday at Disneyland Paris so we will look at the cheapest holiday park in our top five – regardless of reviews or location.
The winner was Paris Est-Champigny Campsite. It is 25 minutes from Disneyland Paris and it gets review scores of 3/5.

- For our August 2024 dates the winner out of all the holiday parks we compared was Center Parcs Village Nature Paris. It is 15 minutes from Disneyland Paris and it gets review scores of 3/5. Their price was £1433 which includes your park tickets for 2 days and parking but not breakfast or the shuttle bus. However, if you add on two more days of tickets to the park (£381) then this works out at £1814.
- For March 2024, again it was cheapest to stay at Center Parcs Village Nature Paris out of all the holiday parks when we searched. This resort is a partnership with Disneyland Paris, where you get a couple of days at the Disneyland theme parks. In this instance, it was £993 for a family of four to stay for three nights with two days at Disneyland Paris. For a fairer comparison, we added on the cost of buying another two days at the theme parks which was another £279 bringing the total to £1272.
- One more thing to mention is a little trick which can work out cheaper. If you book Center Parcs Village Nature Paris via the French version of the Center Parcs website, it is often cheaper than getting a bundle from Disneyland Paris. For March 2024, the cheapest accommodation we could find was £735. Four days of Disneyland Paris theme park tickets added on another £460, giving us a total of £1195 which is a saving of about £77.
Option 5: cheap self catering holiday home near Disneyland Paris
Next up in our price comparison is finding a cheap holiday home or privately-owned apartment and buying Disneyland Paris theme park tickets separately. This might work particularly well if you are travelling as a big group and want to share costs.
We searched for holiday homes near Disneyland Paris on Booking.com.
We found loads of privately owned apartments for hire near to Disneyland Paris. I won't link to a specific one, as they come and go all the time but here's what we found:

We found loads of privately owned apartments for hire near to Disneyland Paris. I won't link to a specific one, as they come and go all the time but here's what we found:
- For August 2024, we found a basic self catering apartment for £307 for three nights. It certainly wasn't anything fancy but it scored 7.3/10 on Booking.com which is reasonably good. The apartment included a double bed with a single bed above and a sofa bed in the lounge. The location was 30 minutes walk from the Disneyland Paris theme parks entrance or a 10 minute drive. I am going to add on the cost of parking (£25 per day) as I doubt we would manage a 30 minute walk after a day at Disneyland Paris. We also need to add on the cost of entry tickets to the Disneyland Paris theme parks which is £1248 for a family of four during August 2024 (for four days in both theme parks). That gives us a total of £1655.
- For our March 2024 dates, we found an apartment for £236 for three nights. It was a similar distance to the Disneyland Paris theme parks, so we are going to add on £100 for four nights of parking. Yes, you could get public transport every day but your overall cost is likely to be about the same. You would need to pay return bus fares on four days for four people, as well as paying to get from the Eurostar terminal to the apartment. Theme parks tickets for the dates in March come to £922, which gives us a total of £1258.
Option 6: camping near Disneyland Paris
Finally, let's look at the cost of a cheap campsite near to Disneyland Paris. This isn't a particularly appealing option for us but if there's a big saving to be made then I could be tempted!
We found pitches available at Paris Est-Champigny Campsite. It features in our guide to holiday parks as it also has lodges and static homes which can be booked through Booking.com.
Camping pitches need to be booked direct from the French version of their website. The campsite scores 3/5 on TripAdvisor and it's a 25 minute drive to Disneyland Paris.

Let's get onto prices:
- In August 2023, the cheapest pitch we could find was £203 for three nights. This seemed a little pricey to me, compared to camping pries in the UK. It looked like we could have a cheaper deal if we had booked a pitch longer in advance but these had sold out. We then need to add on the cost of entry to the theme parks, which is £1159 for our family of four. On top of that, we need to add on £100 for parking as you don't get that included unless you are staying at an 'official' Disneyland Paris hotel. Finally, we need to add on a bit for petrol, as we will be driving about 200 miles extra over four days, compared to staying onsite. That distance would cost me about £40 in my car. So, our total cost for camping is £1502. (2024 prices weren't available when we checked).
- Prices for March 2024 weren't available when we checked. I suspect that you would struggle to find a campsite open in early March! Temperatures in Paris around that time are likely to be about 10 Celsius.
The results of our price comparison - what's the cheapest accommodation near Disneyland Paris?
Let's start with the total cost of a holiday in August 2024. This includes three nights accommodation for a family of four, plus four days at the Disneyland Paris theme parks. We also included the cost of parking at Disneyland Paris where it needs to be paid (you get parking include if you stay at the official Disney resorts). We didn't include food and we didn't include the cost of getting to France!

Let's move on to March 2024. We couldn't include camping in this one, as it wasn't available to book.

Conclusion - what's the cheapest accommodation near Disneyland Paris?
Honestly, this price comparison surprised me!
I was expecting the 'official' Disneyland Paris resorts to be more expensive than a DIY-alternative of finding a cheap apartment and buying day tickets.
However, the cheapest Disneyland Paris accommodation and ticket bundle was only beaten by camping in our price comparison - and only by £37! I would happily pay £37 to be within walking distance of the theme parks!
The key factor here is that you get a good discount on the Disneyland Paris theme park entry price if you go for accommodation and entry tickets together. You also get parking included and you won't be wasting time and money on driving if you stay at an official Disneyland Paris hotel.
It's worth pointing out that there are plenty of more expensive official hotels at Disneyland Paris. But if you are just looking for a cheap Disneyland Paris holiday then start with Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe if you are arriving by train or Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch if you are bringing a car.
If you want to avoid the non-stop Disney experience then the next cheapest option is to find a privately owned apartment near Disneyland Paris.

Finally - is it possible to do a day trip to Disneyland Paris from the UK?
You may feel that an overnight trip to Disneyland Paris isn't practical for you. I can sympathise. The thought of travelling with suitcases, baby monitors and so on is enough to make me need a lie down in a dark room.
A day trip to Disneyland Paris from the UK is certainly ambitious but it's not impossible. It is more feasible in the warmer months when Disneyland Paris closes some time between 6pm and 11pm rather than during winter when it sometimes closes at 5pm (check opening times).
I checked the prices for a visit on a weekday in August 2024 and found that:
That would give you about 5-6 hours at Disneyland Paris.
So, how much would this rather ambitious day trip cost you?
That gives us a grand total of £816 for a day trip to Disneyland Paris for a family of four.

I checked the prices for a visit on a weekday in August 2024 and found that:
- the earliest train leaves London at 0704 and arrives at Disneyland Paris at lunchtime (1212). Getting to London for that time of day might be a challenge! Personally, I would pay the congestion charge and pay to park near London St Pancras International on a site such as JustPark.
- you would then need to catch the 1851 train back, which arrives in London at 2157. Of course, you would need to figure out if you can get home at that time.
That would give you about 5-6 hours at Disneyland Paris.
So, how much would this rather ambitious day trip cost you?
- Most of the Eurostar trains were already book up in the example above (I searched about six weeks in advance). If I had been organised I reckon it would have cost me about £500 for a family of four.
- Entry to the main Disneyland Paris theme park (Disneyland Park) was £276 on that day for a family of four. I could have paid an extra £90 to also visit the smaller theme park next door (Walt Disney Studios Park) but I don't think it is practical to visit both in one day.
- Parking in London for the day was £25 when we checked Just Park. The congestion charge is another £15.
That gives us a grand total of £816 for a day trip to Disneyland Paris for a family of four.
