The Chase and Grange Holiday Park in Ingoldmells: Visit and review of a good value Skegness resort11/10/2025 It's fair to say that the Chase and Grange Holiday Centre is a very simple and well kept caravan site. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but it does the job nicely if you want a well-located holiday park at a very good price. Here's what we thought of it, along with some of our photos. Good weather and a neat siteWe were blessed with beautiful sunny weather on the East Lincolnshire coast when we visited the Chase and Grange Holiday Park. I spent quite a while calling it the Chase and Status, but I eventually moved on and used its proper name. As we got to know the site, we commented that the caravans were nicely spread out and that many of them look to be pretty modern. The whole site was well looked after and didn't look too worn out. I wouldn't say it was particularly leafy, but that's not unusual. We've found that parks around this part of Skegness and Ingoldmells don't tend to have a lot of trees and hedges. However, there is plenty of grass and green space, and the owners have made a good effort to add a bit of colour with some lovely flowers. Simple facilities rather than an action-packed resortOf course, if you want an exciting holiday park experience with swimming pools or a jumbo-sized playground then The Chase and Grange is not for you. You would be much better to look at Haven Skegness or Parkdean Resorts Southview, where you could spend a couple of days without needing to explore any further. However, neither of those resorts are particularly close to the attractions and beach around Skegness and Ingoldmells. There is a restaurant - called Woodys - that is used by a lot of people staying at The Chase and Grange. There is also a launderette and a small Morrisons on the edge of the site, but really that's about it. What about the location?Admittely, the Chase and Grange is not right by the sea - but if you walk down a long street for about a mile then you'll reach a rather lovely golden stretch of sand.
Having visited, I can certainly recommend the Chase and Grange if you want good value and simple accommodation and if you are the sort of person who does not use swimming pools and on-site facilities. Personally, we look for holiday parks with a swimming pool and slightly easier access to a beach, but that's not the case for everyone.
