The short answer is that you’ll probably pay about £60 - £100 to bring your dog with you on a Haven holiday. The longer answer is that Haven doesn’t have a fixed amount they charge for you to bring a dog. Instead, they bundle the extra cost into the price of dog friendly caravans. When you search for accommodation on Haven you’ll be asked if you have a dog. If you say yes, the only accommodation that shows up is the dog friendly caravans. The price you see includes the cost of bringing your dog. That’s good news in a way, as it means you won’t suddenly find another cost when you get to the final page on the booking form. It also works differently if you are touring or camping, but we'll get onto that later (Ed: ooooh, exciting!) Give me some examples of dog friendly prices at Haven!Alright, settle down. A please and thankyou wouldn't go amiss. We looked for a week’s holiday at Haven Cala Gran near Blackpool in mid August 2025. Without a dog, the cheapest accommodation we found was:
That’s the price for a standard Haven holiday, rather than the Haven Hideaway option where you don’t get access to the swimming pool and entertainment. We then looked for the same dates in a dog friendly caravan and were quoted these prices:
The reason that the Silver caravan appears more expensive is that the dog-friendly caravan wasn't the same as the standard caravan. Without a dog, we were given the choice of a two bedroom or three bedroom caravan. With a dog, we had to go for a three bedroom caravan – which costs more. You might be glad to have somewhere to send your dog at night, or you might end up paying extra for a room you don’t need. We then looked for a week’s off peak holiday in mid-October2025 at Haven Rockley Park in Dorset. This time the prices without a dog were:
The cheapest prices with a dog were:
Again, we can see that the cheapest accommodation is usually about £100 for a week’s holiday with a dog – or more in the case of the Bronze Caravan. I couldn't figure out why the Bronze one was notably more expensive. It’s also worth mentioning that there are some Haven accommodation grades that you aren’t offered if you bring a dog. At Haven Rockley, the Emerald lodges, Diamond lodges, Pods and Signature Gold properties are not available as dog friendly options. What about Haven weekend breaks? How much does it cost to bring a dog on one of those? We then searched for a three night break at Haven Kent Coast (previously called Allhallows). Without a dog, the cheapest prices available were:
With a dog, the choice was limited to:
In this instance, we weren’t offered a Saver caravan for a dog as they don’t have any at Kent Coast. So, the cost of bringing a dog was either £60 or £80 extra, depending on how you see it! The cheapest accommodation was £80 extra with a dog, but upgrading to a comparable caravan costs you £60. And what about Haven's midweek breaks? How much will I pay to bring a pet to one of those?Seeing as you asked, we did another search. This time we looked at the price of a four night midweek holiday at Haven Cleethorpes Beach in Lincolnshire in mid-October 2025. Here are the prices we found for accommodation without a dog.
And here are the prices for accommodation with a dog
What if I want to bring two dogs to a Haven holiday park? Do I pay more? No. For the dates we checked, you pay the same whether you bring one dog or two dogs at a Haven holiday park. What about camping and touring? How much does Haven charge to bring a dog?Camping and touring works differently. You pay the same for the pitch as a non-dog owner but you pay '£1 per pet per night', according to Haven's terms and conditions. So, that will work out as £14 for a week if you have two dogs. I'm sure you could have calculated that without my help. Some advice for bringing a dog on a Haven holiday
