Center Parcs Nordborg Resort in Denmark - Prices and opening date update!

Needless to say, we are excited at the prospect of a new Center Parcs resort in Europe - particularly when it's the first in a country.

What's the big update?

We now know that Center Parcs Nordborg Resort will open on 20th June 2025. The date has shifted a bit - for a while it was Spring 2025 and then it was August 2025, but they've settled on a date now.

It's exciting because Center Parcs Europe can sometimes be considerably cheaper than the UK resorts - and it's a bit more of an adventure for those of us who want a bit of foreign travel whilst sticking to a brand we know.

As much discussed on this site, Center Parcs in Europe is much lumpier than the UK equivalents. The UK resorts are pretty consistent in terms of quality and price. Yes, there are some differences but nowhere near the range you get at Center Parcs Europe.

What can we expect from Center Parcs Nordborg Resort?

It's a bit of a gamble to stay at a newly built resort - but it's also exciting to be one of the first through the door.

Here's some of the latest official information that we've been sent by Center Parcs Europe

"Surrounded by dense forests, rolling coastlines, and historic landmarks, Nordborg Resort offers everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The centerpiece is the spectacular Aqua Mundo water world with several water slides and a wild water river. Other highlights include electric jeeps for children, boat rides, an interactive farm with animal encounters, and an outdoor activity center with laser tag and archery."

"The Market Dome offers culinary delights, shopping, mini golf, bowling, and entertainment for the whole family. The offerings are complemented by the stylish Fratelli Strand Café and Denmark's longest bathing jetty—140 meters of pure vacation freedom, leading directly into the Little Belt."

How much will it cost me to stay at Center Parcs Nordborg Resort?

Quite a lot!

If you're looking for a bargain break at a Center Parcs in Europe then I wouldn't start with Center Parcs Nordborg. It's relatively expensive and it's a long journey from the UK compared to Belgium, France or the Netherlands.

Instead, I would look at Center Parcs De Vossemeren in Belgium​ or Center Parcs Erperheide in Belgium. Other good options are Center Parcs Le Bois Aux Daims in France, Center Parcs Het Meerdal in the Netherlands and Center Parcs Park Bostalsee in Germany ​

Center Parcs Nordborg Resort is for people who fall into one of these categories:

• long time Center Parcs fans who want the excitement of trying a new resort
• people planning a visit to Legoland in Denmark, which is just a few minutes from the new Center Parcs Nordborg resort.
• someone who want a Center Parcs resort with a beach nearby, as there aren't many of those (Center Parcs Park de Haan in Belgium is one exception, but it gets poor reviews).

Back in October 2024, we looked at prices for a holiday in August 2025 and found that prices at Center Parcs Nordborg started about £2000 for four people for a week. Meanwhile, ​Center Parks Erperheide was about £600 cheaper and is much easier to reach from the UK.

We looked again at prices today and found that the cheapest accommodation at Center Parcs Nordborg in early August was £2360, whilst Center Parcs Erperheide had crept up to £1938 - about £400 cheaper.
